Was a patient here for 5 years always had the same insurance they didnt accept even though they told me they did when i made my first appointment in 2020 so I had to be a self pay patient which was never an issue. Needed an emergency appointment was having bad headaches and eye pain and my glasses were broken. I made an appointment and told them all of this so they waited until the day of my appointment to call me after seeing they didn't accept my insurance (they never have as previously stated) to tell me i would have to pay $105 at the desk before my appointment. This has never before been the case and wouldn't have been an issue had they told me way back when I made the "emergency" appointment. Any other time they have simply sent me a bill and I would just pay it but this receptionist noticed i had caresource she must've assumed i was poor and wouldn't pay my bill so she calls and tells me I cannot been seen without paying $105 upon arrival just hours before my appointment after me having restated this was an emergency appointment she said oh well we can't see you. IVE NEVER NOT PAID MY BILL IN 5 YEARS..... Horrible practice that clearly only cares about your cash and not your eyes very sad and if I were you I'd put my families eye health in someone else's hands because these people will let you go blind over $100 which Midwest Retina in Columbus told me would've happened with my condition had they not got me in (same day) and after hearing what was going on. Terrible.

Stupid scheduling process. I'll go somewhere that doesn't cancel all the appointments the week before... why let me schedule online if it doesn't ask all the information you need to keep the scheduled appointments online.. and they don't see 3 family members in the same day? Why would I take off work more than one day for myself and my 2 kids to see an eye dr. Unnecessary annoyance.
Says their open online arrived at 11:30am their sign on the door says their open but they were closed Monday they were closed came back at 1pm still closed this has occurred several times where it says their open but we drive all the way there and they are closed hours of operation are crazy never know fo sure when they are open or closed
I cannot say I've had a terrible or great experience with this business. The usual issues arise. Wrong or misleading information given at times. Receptionist really don't like anyone disagreeing or saying their wrong. For example. I was one told I couldn't use both of my insurance. Reached out to my insurance and there was no reason I wasn't able to. Overall had a decent experience there. Tho I am curious. Has anyone else gone there regularly and told by the doctor that one eye or another was slightly worse but never adjust your prescription? Anyone else experience that there? Is it normal for your eyes to get worse but your doctor not adjust your prescription? Like I said, decent place, never had to many issues until they want to end all service. They do so by allowing me to order my contacts, charge me for them, then tell us to never come back. Just be weary, they act like everything is normal, take your money, then tell you take a hike. Real professional action there. So as long as you never disagree, get loud, angry, or let a bad word slip out then you should have a decent experience there. Good luck. Hope all works out for everyone.
While the staff and doctor are nice, they are always having problems with their systems or trying to figure out how many contacts are in a years supply... I couldn’t even pay for my contacts at my appointment because they couldn’t figure out how to get it to run through their new system. Then they didn’t come in until 3 days later than when I was told and I never received a call that they were in, I had to call myself to check. Finally picked them up, only to have them call me BEFORE 8am the next morning to have me check the boxes because -lo and behold- they gave me the wrong box. So now I have to drive an extra hour to exchange my wrong contacts. Unbelievable and unacceptable.
