I walked in to reorder some lenses for my Maui Jim sunglasses, and I was met with Tony. Through a very irritating process for I’m sure the both of us, Tony got the job done where others didn’t step up to help. He really is a great guy and I enjoyed working with him!
Wonderful employees. I came in elevated thanks to gps and construction turning a 5 minute drive into 20, and they were so kind and understanding. Also, great eye care. And they have affordable frames. Edit: their employees are personable and human and caring. When I need new glasses I will come here again.
No judgement. Staff was friendly patient and professional. They were assertive and acknowledged the issue happening with my left eye. I left knowing exactly what was wrong with my eye due to my appointment I had with the Doctor. I was also given treatment to cure the situation. They also take and accepted my insurance (in net work) which came in handy to no charge for this appointment. I have a follow up appointment to check on the progress making sure it’s healing and getting better.
DANGER!!!! if you value your vision and care about your eye health I would suggest going to a competent eye care facility. I'm not even sure the answer of that myself, I'm looking. I've had an eye condition that requires seeing an eye doctor in an emergency setting, and have on multiple times been seen by the doctor at Abba but this last time I had an issue I called and they did not take it serious and made me wait almost 48 hours to be seen and with this condition, it's time sensitive. So I make it to the doctor after bearing the excruciating pain for 48 hours, and the secretary at their office demanded that I had to take an eye exam even though by waiting 48 hours my vision had gone completely bad, she argued with me for about 5 minutes demanding I do the eye exam and I kept telling her that I can't even see!!!! and she said there's nothing she could do that I have to have an eye exam first. So just giving in because I'm in excruciating pain she offers me a form that I could go without getting my eyes dilated, there's a technology that cost money so I agreed because I didn't want my eyes dilated, I needed to see the doctor you know "eye emergency". So then they proceeded with the regular eye exam took me back and have me look at the little balloon in the road tried to get me to pry my eye open to shine a bright light in it, but amplified the pain a100x, and then took me over to another room and set up that machine that they put your glasses prescription in that they give you the "1 or 2" but keep in mind since they've made me wait two days my vision was probably only at about 50% maybe less I was half blind but after that part of the eye exam the doctor finally came in and asked how I was doing thinking I was just having an eye exam move that machine that the lady had set up to my prescription over to start his part of the exam but I told him it was useless and what had just happen, he was pretty bent out of shape that happened when I was there for an emergency, I was on my way but since I was there for an "eye exam" they had a guy sitting there trying to sell me glasses so I had to sit and wait for him and all I wanted to do was leave. So 6 months go by and since I did that dilation for the "eye exam" they demanded of me. When they finally billed me, they realized they had to go through my health care not my vision Care and my health care will not cover the no dilation because it wasn't required for the medical emergency. So now they're trying to charge me full price for that and I called there office and they told me oh well just pay it you were only here for a medical emergency not an eye exam even though the lady at the front desk argued with me for 5 minutes that I had to have an eye exam before I could be seen by the Dr for my medical emergency. All the excruciating pain in the incompetence in their billing department and secretary I would just go to a different eye doctor facility.
