Dr. Wainess’ staff is amazing. The 2 individuals that I encountered who conducted some tests etc. this past week were very kind, very considerate. I am hearing impaired and they made every single attempt to communicate to me so that I could read their lips. Sounds crazy, but you have to understand for someone who is hearing impaired, it is genetic, I can’t do anything about it, no, hearing aids will not fix that, so for them to make every attempt to communicate to me so that I could read their lips at all times, was absolutely generous and kind. It doesn’t happen very often, believe me. The front desk is good but there seems to be a lot of influx of employees. My only gripe is you can’t speak to anybody at the front desk if you call in to make an appointment. Rather you have to go to a call center which I do not find helpful. Although I have to say, after the office canceled on me twice, it is ridiculous in Pasadena how long you have to wait to get an appointment, they were Johnny on the spot in granting me a new appointment within one week. Bless their hearts.

I'm quite disappointed with the one-hour wait time for my tech appointment. It feels excessive, especially when it seems that only one technician is available to handle all the requests. This lack of personnel not only causes frustration but also indicates a lack of commitment to providing quality service to customers. Effective customer service relies on timely assistance, and waiting this long leaves a negative impression. It's essential for companies to ensure they have enough staff available to meet customer needs efficiently.
Taking care of my dry macular degeneration was excellent. When my right eye got a leak, thus becoming wet macular degeneration, careful, watchful treatment started, included eye injections. Now after 5 months, my leak healed with shots n I had none Freday Dr. Davis loves saving our vision. Acuity runs smoothly n efficiently. Come on in.
The acquity team is great! But most importantly Dr Davis is miraculous in his skill set and talent!! He has performed 2 retna repair surgeries on my eyes. Both were miracles and brought dight back to my eyes where I can go back to work. I was bli d in one eye where he brought back eyesight with 20/40 vision. I amextremely thankful to my Lord for breading me to Dr Davis!!! As Mr Chen had told me. Dr Davis is the best!!! Thank you Aquity!!
The staff is nice but the organization of appointments for surgeries is horrible. They only have one person in charge of scheduling appointments for all the eye surgeries and she never answers her phone. It goes straight to voicemail. When I finally get a phone call that was mistaken as spam, she leaves a message with a surgery date the next week without consult me or my father directly to confirm that I am available (like I do not have a job) and only find out 2 days as a follow up that the surgery is scheduled on a monday that I work. They need a better system than rely on ONE person who always as a FULL voicemail box to schedule a surgery. I would not be complaining because the first time my father had eye surgery I spent a couple hours in the waiting room hearing other patients and family complain that the surgery was set on that date and was cancelled by Shireen (the scheduler) but no one informed the patient or the family. Many patients are elderly and are driven by their sons or daughters who take the time to mame these appointments and the customer service is horrible because even if you ask other staff to help they would defer to Shireen, the only person who can schedule the surgery because no one else has access to their system.
