They were very kid friendly and worked great with my 4 year old son who has never been to an eye doctor before then! They explained to him everything they were going to do before they did it which was very helpful because he was very nervous just being there. It was a great experience for both him and I plus he absolutely loved the glasses they gave him to wear lol
Super pleasant staff. A really well oiled machine. Efficient but very patient oriented. Comfort and safety are their top priority. Look forward to having the other one done.
I have been a patient at Advanced Eye Care for 20 + yrs. The receptionists & Dr's have always been great. I had a stye for 2 wks, hot pks every day, not helping. Made appt for March 31st. Had Dr Smith, who I have never seen before. He did exam, said he could lance it if I wanted him to, so made appt for Friday April 3rd. He came into rm all business, ok, some Dr's are like that. He tells me the worst part is the needle, he starts to stick the needle under my eye & I flinch because it's a sensitive area & it hurt. I don't remember his exact words but something like, "If you don't get yourself under control we will have to stop & you've been through worse". He apologies after, but im sorry, that was very stressful & not very professional on his part. I certainly thought he was going to numb the area first like a dentist does, not just stick the needle in & his remarks were certainly not very empathetic. Needless to say I will not be going to Dr Smith for anything else.
After I checked in I had a very short wait to be seen for a regular eye exam. The technician who saw me first was very kind, and VERY patient with me. I had a difficult time with the new glaucoma test (no longer use the puff method, which I was expecting), so she opted for a different test which I also had a difficult time with. Finally got that done, then saw Dr. Phan for the eye exam. He was very nice and very thorough. It was probably the most extensive eye exam I've ever had. I can definitely recommend them!
Advanced Eyecare in Bennington VT has been looking 👀 after my eyes for over 20 years. I wear contacts and require eye exams and a prescription every couple of years in order to order contacts. The doctors are excellent and the office is fantastic in every way and I've never had a problem. I totally recommend this professional establishment for all your eye and optical needs.
