I really enjoyed my experience. I absolutely love my doctor! He always takes the time to explain what’s going on with my eyes and makes sure I understand what needs to be done. I truly appreciate how patient, thorough, and caring he is.

You will always have a wait. The issue I went in with I came out with no solution. Had an appt for a medical evaluation and was only given standard eye exam. Though I needed one my concerns exceeded what a standard eye exam would detect. So to avoid paying for new prescription before I know truly what’s going on and may need different prescription with a different diagnosis I will call and make the appt with the specialist I need. Seems this place is definitely business ran and not patient ran. They have a box to check off and you’re sent on your way. Love Dr Klugh but was disappointed. Doubt I’ll waste my time there the future.
The receptionist, the nurses, and doctor were excellent. The facility was clean and cool. The wait time was not good. I arrived at 12:45 for a1:00 appointment and left at 3:00.
I have enjoyed attending this place for my eye care for the last. I don’t know how many years the reception is the lady that helps you pick out your glasses and doctor klugh they are such exceptional people the whole staff and I’m not saying it to tickle ears I’m saying it because today in the healthcare industry People see so much, but I have been satisfied with this office.
Liked how the actual eye Dr handled my high functioning autistic son. And only one of the nurses was nice and patient. Otherwise I didn't like the staff at all especially at front desk, I waited 6 months to get to my son appointment to come and morning of, got called that eye Dr had emergency and will be another 6 months to get seen. Then 12 months of waiting, arrived 15 minutes early and had to fill out a mountain of paperwork no one even told me about in the year of waiting for his appointment.regarding them getting their money one way or another, sign your life away seems like. Before they would even check my son in for his appointment,we had to sit there and fill it out for about 30 minutes, give them several forms of ID, insurance and personal and financial information, then wait another 20 minutes for them to call him back, then they did few things for about 10 minutes or less and sat us in another waiting room for about 15 minutes. Was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous, autistic kids are not good with waiting at all. This place was not too kid friendly at all. Except the actual eye Dr herself. Hickman I think was. She had lots of patience and understanding with my son. But was trying to Rush us out the door and I had questions, she answered a few but seemed to be trying to get us out the door fast and to next patient. Guess way overbooked. My Mom also had bad experience with this place. Honestly I would rather travel several hours away next time to find a better more kid friendly place. New Bern, Kinston, Williamston, Wilson, whatever. Luckily my son's eyes are fine and we don't need to go back.but if we did. I'd go with different place. But I am grateful for Dr Hickmans behavior towards my son's behavior.
