I had an extremely disappointing experience with the optical department at Shaw Eye Center. While I have no complaints about the doctors or medical side of the practice, the optical staff was a completely different story. The level of professionalism was very poor. The staff came across as rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to customer concerns. I repeatedly felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a patient or customer. Communication was lacking, and it often seemed like the staff did not fully understand what they were doing or how to properly assist customers with their eyewear needs. Customer service should be a priority in any healthcare-related business, but my experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. The attitude and behavior I encountered in the optical department were unacceptable and made the entire process far more difficult than it needed to be. I would not recommend the optical side of Shaw Eye Center based on my experience. Management should seriously consider additional training in customer service, professionalism, and communication for the optical staff.

Personnel was very helpful and friendly. However, I don’t recommend coming here because we have been here almost 2 hours for a vision check. It seems they do not have a good booking system and service is SLOW!

I loved my experience here at the río location, although the wait is pretty long, I didn’t mind it because the girls at the front and optical were very polite with me along with the tech I got and the doctor
