I took my father here for an eye exam, and our experience with the optometrist, Simone Wallace, was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I was there to translate for my father, but she repeatedly rushed through the exam and did not give me enough time to explain her instructions to him. She also checked her phone during the appointment, which made it seem like she was distracted and uninterested in providing proper care. When my father said that his vision was blurry and he could not see the letters, she told me to “tell him to guess.” I do not understand the purpose of an eye exam if a patient is being told to guess when they cannot see clearly. Her tone was raised, impatient, and disrespectful throughout the visit. At one point, she asked my father to follow a light without looking directly at her. He was having difficulty understanding the instructions and moved his head, and she raised her voice and said, “Don’t look at me.” My father became visibly uncomfortable and scared because of the way she spoke to him. I do want to recognize Allison, the technician, who was very kind, patient, and compassionate with my father. Her professionalism was greatly appreciated and stood in sharp contrast to the rest of our experience. As a healthcare provider myself, I understand that patients may need extra time, patience, and clear communication, especially when there is a language barrier. We did not feel that my father was treated with compassion, respect, or dignity by the optometrist. I left the appointment feeling that we may have been discriminated against because of the language barrier. I would not recommend this optometrist to anyone looking for patient, respectful, and compassionate care.

These ladies were amazing. I just needed glasses for my little girl and the other America's Best we went to continuously gave us a hard time. Just completely unhelpful. This ladies at this one were so wonderful. They all helped my little girl pick out her glasses and get them sized and raved about how cute they looked. No issues at al. Friendly service, great price...I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend.
I recently visited my eye doctor, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They even offered me a cup of coffee, which was a perfect start to my morning. The customer service was exceptional, especially from Miss Bessie and Miss Tempest. Both were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel valued as a patient. Their kindness and genuine concern stood out, ensuring that I was comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Huynh was equally impressive. He took the time to thoroughly explain the eye exam process and made me feel at ease. It’s clear that he values his patients, as he answered all my questions with patience and clarity. What really caught my attention was the affordability of the contacts and the eye exam itself. In an age where healthcare can be costly, finding reasonable prices is a significant relief. Overall, my experience at this eye doctor's office was outstanding. I want to extend a special thank you to Miss Bessie, Miss Tempest, and Dr. Huynh for their exceptional service. If you're looking for an eye doctor who truly cares about their patients, this is the place to go!
Called the store for help and the lady helping me was SO rude I heard her sigh on the phone when I told her I didnt have my insurance id number. Im a student and it goes through my parents. Other glasses locations have been able to find my insurance with my name and DOB. Just lost a customer cancelled my appointment!
The manager at the East Colonial location is HORRIBLE !!! She has ZERO business being in a customer service roll. Insensitive, rude and unprofessional! You are predominately a senior /ekderly care business with seniors being over 60 % of your business-that being said elderly customers need patience and guidance and clarity -none of which this manager was willing to give ! Shame on you for treating a 93 year old with no respect !!!
