Very disappointing customer service today. I’ve been going to this particular store for the better part of 8 years. Usually everything is handled very professionally, but today this wonderful tech or whatever the front office staff is called ruined my whole perception of this particular clinic. I walk in, he’s helping another lady. We make eye contact. Absolutely no greeting. No biggie. Manners, customer service ain’t exactly the strongest character trait of these millennials & Generation Z generation. But 2… lighter shade… more fair complexion than myself, walk in & they get, Welcome to America’s Best ladies. I’ll be with you in one moment. Sorry for the wait. Wonder why they get the red carpet VIP customer service that’s not available to me? But it’s cool. Conduct your business in any way that you deem appropriate. I’m hopeful that more people like myself choose to patronize other companies that treat EVERYONE with respect. For the record, it was slow as hell with only 2 customers (one being me) in the store at the time of my entry. Meanwhile, I walk over to 5 & below. They’re PACKED with only one employee & EVERYONE gets the biggest greeting & salutation. This kid is all over the place helping everyone. But again, America’s Best can run their operations in any way that they choose. Smh
I got their special, 2 pair of glasses with progressive lenses for$200. Unfortunately it ended up costing me $571. The actual experience was great and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I just wish they had given me all the details of the cost up front. It was also supposed to only take 2 weeks to get my glasses but it took 4 weeks because one of my pairs of glasses went to another store. It was still cheaper than the other stores because I didn’t have insurance.
I just love Sylvia. She could be my new BF. She is knowledgeable extremely helpful. Great attitude. Found me savings on my new glasses. You need to hire a herd of Sylvia's. Or Clone her. Seriously this location is the best store there is. I have never had a negative experience.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Russell was new for me, he took his time to go over my chart with me while doing the final exam. It's nice to see that these days. Sylvia was so much fun and extremely friendly. She reintroduced me to the discount program I used many years ago. I'm very much grateful for her help and the program.
