I had a 1:00 p.m. appointment, and by 1:24 p.m. I still hadn’t been seen. When I went to ask about the delay, I was told there were two people ahead of me and that they were “going by appointment.” That explanation didn’t make sense because I also had an appointment. If you’re running behind, just be honest and let patients know instead of giving conflicting information. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the optometrist’s assistant. Rather than being helpful, they came across as rude and dismissive, which is unacceptable when someone is simply asking about their scheduled appointment. My entire family has been coming here for years, but after this experience, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. There are plenty of independently owned optical shops that offer better customer service, higher-quality designer frames, and often at lower prices. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.
