America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My experience at the Peachtree City America's Best location was a tad frustrating at first. This was due to very long wait times. Seems remote doctors are not on time. An almost 3 hour wait time is insane. However, I want to recognize Katia McDowell for going above and beyond to help me find a solution. Since my primary location is Camp Creek, she offered to have my glasses mailed there so I could complete my eye exam at a location that worked better for me. She understood that no matter which America's Best location I visit, I'm still an America's Best customer. I would also like to acknowledge Alicia Arnold, who was very kind, professional, and helpful throughout the process. While neither of these ladies appeared to be in management, they treated me with the level of care and attention that made me feel valued. Thank you, Katia and Alicia, for turning a frustrating experience into one where I felt genuinely cared for.

My daughter and I visited America’s Best in Peachtree City for glasses, and the experience was amazing. The entire team and manager were so kind, patient, and welcoming. They made the whole process fun and stress-free.

I’ve had a couple not so great experiences at this location. While the employees are very nice, these remote eye exams are horrible. I was not told that either of my exams were ‘remote’ until I arrived for both appointments. It takes MUCH longer to do these exams! This last one took over 1.5 hours from start to finish. For some reason I had to re-do the eye testing (which I just had done at my previous visit). Then, the tech has to get everything set up with the remote dr (which took over 30 minutes). Finally, there was the actual video exam - which was fine (still weird). After the exam, I had to wait over 20 minutes due to an error with the prescription. Now, I have the joy of having to come back for another follow up in 2 weeks. When I asked for an actual doctor, I was told I had to do it remote since that’s how it was previously done - even though I had 2 different remote doctors! I don’t think I’ll be coming back after my follow up.

I didn’t have to wait until after my appointment time. They were on time and ready to help me. Staff was very kind and helpful. Tynesia was extremely helpful with helping me pick out glasses that were the best fit and looked the best on me. This is a great place to get an eye exam and glasses.
