The receptionist, Linda, greeted me right away. I was not on the ball this time with my insurance card but she had no problem looking up my info in the system. Exam is fast and painless. Nancy helped me checkout and gave opinions on the frames I chose. Overall, great experience and I’ve gone to America’s Best for at least 15 years.

My husband went to pick up my glasses at the West Des Moines location and received the wrong pair of glasses when he called to let them know Linda the receptionist was horribly rude about it. stating that she had told him, they would call him when they found them. Then when he went in to show them a picture of my glasses (these were purchased outside of America’s best and taken in to put lenses in them so they’re not easily replaceable)the manager was horribly rude and informed him she had told him it would take her two hours to find the glasses he told her he thought he’d come back in so she could see pictures of what they look like, and she informed him that she knows what they look like! That he just might as well go home. My husband explained to them we live an hour from this place then she started speaking in Spanish to her employees about something. I don’t understand why these people were so rude to him seeing as it was their fault. If anything, they should’ve offered him something for a messing up But whoever’s glasses we have you’ll be experiencing the same thing I’m sure.
Had a great experience- the staff all greeted me and assisted me with any questions. Alondra even took the time to walk around with me and help look at frames. Very quick exam that was helpful.
This is my first time here and I had a great experience. My appointment was online but still felt like a typical procedures as an “in-person” one. I also appreciate Nancy, she was very helpful with the tons of questions I had about the lenses, frames and she went above and beyond showing different types on lenses and was always friendly when I asked her to do new quotes for me. She was great :)
This is the best place to go for affordable, high quality eye care! I received an eye exam and purchased two pairs of glasses that I love for less than $100. I could conveniently fill out all the paperwork online ahead of time, which made the whole process smoother for everyone. And all of the staff were patient, kind, and helpful! I was helped by Brenda at checkout, who was polite and easy to talk to. I would 100% recommend this place to others!
