America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Hello, my husband and I were in the store last saturday for our exams, we were running slightly late and Lori was able to squeeze us in after running 5-10 minutes late. The entire staff was amazing to work with. Lori is always a sweety every time we are in there 🥰 since coming in this year we had never had experienced Jackie. She was just a peach, truly! Asked Troy and I about our day conversated with us as we were getting part of our exams, and told us about hers. Told us when and what to expect during our exams and then had us take a seat while we waited for the optometrist. Once out I believe our tech was Sam who helped us order my glasses. She was also amazing. Everyone was patient, so kind and answered all of our questions. First time ordering "paired" glasses and couldn't be happier with my results! Picked them up today and they all once again helped me make adjustments after try on's and I am happy to report absolutely 💯 thrilled. Thank you Council Bluffs America's Best! Sam, Lori, Jackie you guys are amazing!

Front desk staff was nice and answered all my questions. However I put my 25 pound toddler on the counter for a second and some lady said move him he can’t sit up there that’s how the other counter got broke ok no problem but then she turned to another customer and started gossiping about it. Always something with this place and when I got my glasses here the lady was rude while adjusting them and was mad when it still didn’t feel right. Ended up leaving with my glasses falling down my face

I’ve been using America’s best for years and this has been by far my worst experience when purchasing glasses. First, I paid $90 extra to have my glasses be thin. Well that was a scam, when I received my glasses the glass was 2-3 thicker than the frames I chose. They then told me that was because of my prescription and the frame I chose. They should of disclosed that when I chose the frames and paid the $90. So they told me I could choose different/thicker frames and they would redo them, so I did. I also contacted corporate explain this 2 weeks ago, they said they would reach out but they still haven’t. I know came to pick up my new glasses because I got a message they had arrived and now they’re saying that they were already picked up. That they don’t have them and someone would reach out to me. This has been such a disappointing experience and it’s not even over yet. Now I don’t have any glasses and all they could say is “it says here you already picked them up”. When I never did. This includes a picture of how thick my glass was after paying $90 extra to make them “thinner”.

More like America's worst, we canceled our orders the same day we had eye exams because something didnt feel right, and were told that a refund was applied. A week later no refund and we get a message that our order is in, which prompted a phone call to the worst customer service, telling us that we cant cancel when the order is already in, contradicting what we were told in the first place. Snarky attitude, rude, and downright nasty. I've personally gone through them for years but not anymore after treating us that way.

Denise is the best. Did the extra work to help me locate a particular pair of RayBans I wanted because they weren't in the store. Shout out to her for doing the work most won't.
