I've always had good experiences with America's best myself. My grandson was visiting from Washington State and lost his glasses in the ocean. He cannot see even a few feet in front of his face without his glasses. The optometrist office in Washington State was absolutely no help in trying to coordinate with America's Best. They would not even share his current prescription. My grandson was finally able to get his eyeglass plan information from another source. Tiffany, at the desk is an amazing, kind , compassionate lady. She was so helpful and went above and beyond. Dr O'Shea is such a hard-working problem solver. My grandson was able to leave with a pair of temporary contacts so he could enjoy the rest of his time at the beach with me. Tiffany and Dr O'Shea truly reflect a world-class business and are compassionate employees. Without hesitation I recommend them for all your eyeglass/contact needs.❤️

The beginning of my experience was good.I had my exam , brought in 2 of my own frames in just needed new lens . The woman was friendly , and helpful. Told me about when they would be finished. About a week later received a text they were finished. Went in the next morning. A nice young woman helped me put me at the first seat and told me, the doctor would be right with me. An older gentleman, by the name of Dr. Frankel comes over, takes my frames . Puts my lens in, I put the glasses on I cannot see I try to tell this gentleman that lenses are in wrong . You could see they were not in correctly. He then argued with me, told me it wasn't wrong. Then proceeded to put me back in the chair to give me another eye exam. I told him sir I am not doing this. I would like to speak to someone else. He told me fine. Asked the woman at the front desk when someone was coming in. I was told 10:30 am. An hour and half after i was there the 1st time. I went back in and saw a woman by the name Michelle, I handed her my glasses.I said, can you please tell me what's wrong with this? She looked at them and said the lenses are in wrong the same exact thing I tried to tell doctor frankel , but he would not listen.she fixed them and put in my other pair if glasses. I could see fine. Thank you Michelle.
Doctor O’Shea is so great! I originally went to see her for glasses/ contacts (because AB hours are very accommodating compared to the other eye doctor I was seeing). I was having an eye issue and was on treatment with another doctor elsewhere. I went to see Dr. O’Shea to get a second opinion when I wasn’t able to wear my contacts. It had been 3 months of treatment and multiple visits with this other doctor with no relief. Dr. O’Shea figured out what was going on with my eyes right away and now I am finally able to wear contacts again. Dr. O’Shea is very understanding and knowledgeable, and makes her patients feel comfortable (and truly listens). Highly recommend her!
I had a mixed experience at America’s Best. The woman who helped me check out and order my glasses was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to sit down with me (in the middle of the store) and worked hard to help me get the best price possible for what I needed, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the customer service afterward was disappointing. After waiting three weeks with no update, I called to check on the status of my glasses and was met by an employee who sounded annoyed that I was even calling. Then another woman got on the phone, rudely told me my glasses had been there, and basically hung up. It was frustrating, especially since no one had contacted me to let me know they had arrived. The in-store help I received initially was excellent, but the communication and professionalism afterward really took away from the experience.
I bought 2 pair of prescription glasses in this store and I did my prescription test here too. Everything went right but now that I need my prescription they say they shipped the prescription to me but it never arrived because they don’t want to help me. I wanted to save a couple dollars by getting my prescription from them but they are not cooperative. It is a legal right to receive your prescription from your provider. 1 star for that. I will go and find me a better place even if I pay more. Bye.
