I came in and was greeted by a very nice lady who then had me talk to the manager working at the front desk (never got her name) on 7/15/26 at 10am and she was extremely rude. This is my first time coming to this establishment and it was not a great experience. She all of a sudden started to be nice when I grabbed the cards to leave a Google review conveniently.

I had a very disappointing experience at this optical office today. My daughters have state Medicaid insurance, and at other optical places we’ve visited before, if the glasses are lost once during the year, they usually help with a replacement — especially because they are children and these things can happen. Before going, I called and was told over the phone that they could help me. However, once I arrived, I was told something completely different. I understand every office may have its own policies, but they should clearly explain them from the beginning instead of giving different information over the phone. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I would rather wait until the insurance renews in November and go to another optical office where the information is clearer and the service is more consistent. If you have state insurance, I recommend asking very carefully about all policies before going so you do not waste your time.
I had a wonderful experience at American Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. Rosairis and Jose were extremely kind, patient, and professional throughout my visit. They took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me choose the best lenses for my needs. Their excellent customer service made the entire process smooth and comfortable. I truly appreciate their help and highly recommend this location. Thank you again for such outstanding service!
I am very disappointed with the while experience. I called and asked questions about my insurance and pricing and was told one thing, in the office i was told something completely different. The older black lady that helped us was not only rude but had no idea what she was doing. The manger was did not seem to wanna help the other lady and then when she finally did was thowing herself in the chair like a child. A regular check up and visit was over 3 hours and we left before even completing the visit. The doctor was the only one on the staff that seemed like they knoew what was going on and professional
This place is a joke. I would not recommend this clinic based on my recent experience. I scheduled an appointment several weeks in advance because evening availability is limited. My appointment was set for Friday at 5:30 PM and I was contacted multiple times via calls and text messages for confirmation. I responded and confirmed earlier this week. Even completed the registration documents required ahead of my visit. Just this morning I received a reminder text confirming (again, for the 3rd time) my appointment. Then, I received a call asking to reschedule because “the doctor needs to leave early for religious reasons.” I explained that I would be driving in after work and could not arrive earlier than my scheduled time. There was zero flexibility here to keep an already agreed upon appointment. If the doctor required a schedule change, for religious reasons (not emergency based) why was the appointment slot listed as available in the first place? Clearly a reflection of poor communication and schedule management. When patients book weeks in advance and confirm multiple times, their time should be respected in return. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of consideration for patient schedules and commitments. If reliability and respect for your time are important, you should consider other options.
