America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My son and I had a great experience at America’s Best in Howell. Everything was so well organized from start to finish. We were seen right at our scheduled appointment time, and the entire visit was seamless. Damaris, the doctor, and the whole team were professional, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the appointment. It’s refreshing to go somewhere that values your time and has such a well-coordinated staff. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for quality eye care.

I had such a great experience at America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses! The whole staff is amazing! Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I walked in. I especially want to recognize Debbie, who was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to see me twice and patiently taught me how to use my contacts. She was so kind, encouraging, and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Her patience and willingness to help truly made a difference. Debbie is such a special person, and America’s Best is lucky to have someone like her on their team. Thank you, Debbie, and thank you to the entire staff for making my experience such a positive one! So very grateful for the excellent care I received at the Howell location. Debbie who is extremely knowledgeable, efficient & caring, took the time to speak to my (new) insurance company when I was unable to obtain the proper information. She patiently waited on the phone (while expertly multi-tasking!), was transferred several times & managed to send me into my eye exam all while assisting me (along with the incredible Naz!) in picking out 2 great frames. Many thanks also to the male technician & Dr Rizvi who are also part of your incredible team. I highly recommend this location!

The eye doctor is very thorough and takes his time to ask questions and listens to your concerns. Monica in the vision center is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! She took her time with us to ensure that our concerns with progressive lenses were addressed. (Unlike another woman we had during a previous visit at the same location who was condescending.) This was a MUCH BETTER visit and experience!

The first time I came, I thought the care was great and the specialists were very good. I've been here for 4 years now, and this year the customer service is terrible. When I made the appointment, the young Hispanic woman treated me with a look of annoyance, as if I had interrupted her rest period. On the day of the appointment, the American receptionist had no idea what she should say or do. She asked the Hispanic woman, and she was the one who helped her because she made the appointment, but even so, the care didn't seem the best. I have no complaints about the ophthalmologist, because they are professional, attentive, and very kind. They know what they're doing and how to treat their patients.
