I've been a customer for years now issues until last year. My husband was treated with the utmost disrespect because he didn't know his insurance provider for his eyes were. I had to call and see why they couldn't look this information up since everything was provided pre arrival. It took two days for a phone call back however at this point it was not even something we wanted to deal with anymore. Moving forward to this year i needed my glasses fixed i walked in as soon as they opened because I know they get busy. I needed a screw no big deal well it was to everyone else, they had to clock in, they didn't do that kind of work on glasses, I had to wait, i should make an appointment. Im sorry im a bother 85 later for frames that I didn't like or want because they couldn't fix my glasses. Two days later I had to go back in because they kept falling off my face, not much could be done theyre cheap plastic so im our the money. I had to switch to my old prescription just to have something to see out of. My husband had an appointment in myrtle Beach last week we get there wait for a receptionist because they are busy we get right in. Checking out every one has gone to lunch leaving one person who decided to chat on the phone with a friend than assist us. I purchased a pair of glasses to take with me to my appointment that are on sale. Trying to save money. This past Saturday I go to my appointment , and I say I purchased these at the myrtle beach store I want to use them instead of purchasing new glasses, oh you cant do that we charge 20 extra for bringing in other frames not ours. Excuse me, I purchased them at an americas best yes but its not our store. So 85 now 40 im out customer service has really depleted with higher prices and nothing to show anymore. We will not be back after this we will be going elsewhere with our business.

I am so very thankful that I chose this store and was lucky enough to get such a wonderful doctor, who likely saved my vision. Dr. Thu-Ha Easter is a young, personable, and very professional and caring doctor. I've been wearing prescription glasses for 10 or 15 years and apparently none of the doctors took enough time to check me accurately. Dr. Easter did the usual tests and said she was concerned because she couldn't tell from something if there was a problem or not. She immediately referred me to a Retinal doctor in Myrtle Beach, which I went to see yesterday. It turns out I have narrow angle glaucoma, and I am scheduled for laser surgery next week. Not only do I have the condition, but one of the medications I have used for more than 10 years has a big red warning not to use it with this condition. I could have had an acute exacerbation at any time and gone completely blind. I cannot thank Dr. Easter enough for her concern and the extra trouble she went through for a complete stranger. She is THE BEST, and quite possibly saved me from blindness. The store itself is bright, clean, and very busy. We only have a couple in North Myrtle Beach, and it takes a month or more to get an appointment. However, my glasses arrived in about a week and were perfect. They filed my insurance and everything turned out wonderfully. I completely recommend this store and most especially the caring excellence of Dr. Easter.
It’s great to be a patient with America’s best. I came here from Pennsylvania and forgot my contacts I know crazy. I called this store explained my situation so they looked up my cart on their computer and said that they have my contacts in stock so nice amazing. If you’re looking for the best place this is it. Thank you America’s best !
Very disappointed with the service at Very disappointed with the service at America's Best in Myrtle Beach on 06 20 2026. Because of the issue I am experiencing with my left eye, I sought immediate assistance from a specialist. As a loyal customer of America's Best in Falls Church, Virginia, I expected to receive the same level of care and professionalism. Unfortunately, Stacey, who works at the front desk, was not helpful at all. She showed no empathy or concern for what I was going through and did not make any effort to assist me during a stressful situation. As a customer seeking help for an eye problem, I expected much better service and compassion. I would, however, like to recognize Kelly, who took the time to listen to me and provided several helpful suggestions on where I could go to receive the care I needed. Her kindness and willingness to help made a significant difference. Sadly, my experience at the Myrtle Beach location was extremely disappointing. Customer service should be based on professionalism, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people, especially when they are dealing with a medical concern. Because of this experience, I will be looking for another eye care provider for my future appointments and vision needs. Thank you, Kelly, for your kindness and assistance. You were the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. in Myrtle Beach.
My initial appointment was for May, they called and left a voicemail saying I’ve been rescheduled to July because the doctor cant see anyone that day. Ok fine, I know things happen. Now here it is just mere days before my rescheduled appointment and they call and leave another voicemail saying the doctor cant see anyone that day and are rescheduling for September! This is complete bs. Will NEVER give this place my money again.
