Jamyria at the front desk is incredibly pleasant and helpful. She made the experience go smoothly and was very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of our questions thoroughly and in detail. Very great employee.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star)** I visited America’s Best to purchase eyeglasses using an outside prescription. I provided my insurance card, but the staff said they could not confirm my coverage. They refused to call the insurance company by phone and offered no alternative solutions. As a result, I had no choice but to pay over $600 out of pocket for my glasses. Afterward, I contacted my insurance company to file a claim. They required a claim form to be completed and signed by both me and America’s Best. When I returned to the store, the manager, Kamhyri, refused to sign the form. She stated that they do not get involved with billing or insurance claims and said she needed clarification on whose signature was required. I asked her to call the insurance company using the phone number provided on the form so she could get that clarification, and she refused to do so. Both visits were extremely frustrating. The lack of willingness to assist, refusal to communicate with the insurance company, and overall poor customer service were unacceptable. I do not recommend this location, and the manager is in serious need of additional management and customer service training. She was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all.

America’s Best in Houma is the best. I simply loved Dr. Andrew Khong. He laid out all of the options for me with pros and cons so that I could make a well informed decision on my next step.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! I am especially thankful too Caila Nixion who went above and beyond to help me and was so patient compassionate and empathic she is a truly example of what every employer should look for in a employee

Ridiculous that you walk in for your 1:00PM appointment at 1:03PM just to be told we don’t give grace periods for the last appointment of the day. We have to reschedule. Absolutely not, I own an appointment based business and this is not how you retain returning clients. Traffic in Houma can cause you to be 5-10 minutes late at any given moment.
