America’s Best Optometrist

Lack of empathy is extremely alarming. I went to strongsville america's best to get glasses. Chose my frames, everything seemed fine. I went to pickup my glasses and they had a "fishbowl" effect. They sent the glasses back to be fixed, picked up a second time. Still had the fishbowl effect. Sent back a third time, same thing. By the third pickup- I asked what can I do to prevent this fishbowl effect? The technician stated that it's due to the type of lenses I chose with the strength of prescription I have- I will always have that fishbowl effect unless I chose a different pair of lenses. I explained that if that's the case- why has no one ever mentioned this to me considering I've now sent these glasses back 3 times to get fixed? The technicians there were sweet for the most part, but also had a mentality of - "I'm sorry.... but what do you want to do?" I also overheard the discussion they were having at the front desk, about my situation- saying " i don't know what she wants us to do" in a very negative tone. There was a huge lack of empathy and accountability for something that could've completely been avoided on their part and now I've wasted time for months now without glasses. I've always gone to America's Best with no issues, but this location has confirmed I will never go back. I decided to just get refunded and go elsewhere. This has been so extremely frustrating and defeating.

I had my very first appointment here today, and I have to say I am very pleased. As soon as I walked in, the front desk woman was so kind, asking me how I was doing and making the check in process very easy! Then I was greeted by Jocelyn. She was very nice, made me feel very comfortable. It seemed they were a little short staffed, but Jocelyn stepped in and did my pre-check exam and worked the sales floor! During my pre check exam, I had to do the puff of air test. Everyone hates this, and I had some anxiety about it. Jocelyn made me feel very comfortable and eased my anxiety! Dr. Duke was also fantastic, helping me find a good prescription and explaining everything very well! During check out, Jocelyn explained how everything broke down price wise, and chatted with me like I was an old friend! Over all, a great experience, I can’t wait to go pick up my new frames in a few weeks!

My daughter's eye exam went very well today thanks to the wonderful staff. Lisa was so extremely friendly and made sure she explained everything she was doing during the pre test. Dr. Duke is wonderful as well, he answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. We will schedule all of our eye exams here from now on. Thank you so much!

I have reached recently purchased new eyeglasses from the America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Strongsville. I am very satisfied with all the services that I have received from frame selection ( I am very picky in selecting my frames and had been to multiple locations of various eyeglass providers ) to picking them up out the door. All staff was magnificent in assisting me.

Set an appointment up cause they had availibility. Lisa was my technician. She was awesome. Helped out with finding my insurance which was great. A lot of styles and choices to choose from.
