I had an issue- sufficient to say it was unpleasant. HOWEVER- I was called by the area manager “Mel”/Melissa and she was a breath of fresh air. I assured her that I didn’t feel entitled to anything other than her hearing about my experience so that it didn’t happen again. She was so kind, made sure I was taken care of and knew that she would follow up with her team. She insisted that I come in so that her team could make it right. I felt uncomfortable at first but I believe in giving people a chance- my next experience was great. The manager Kyle was kind and thorough. He made me feel completely comfortable. I didn’t talk to the front desk, as I was in and out.

Horrible service overall, originally they refused to fill out the paperwork for the DMV eye test because it was for an out of state DMV (even after I showed them that the paperwork from the dmv that it did not require them to licensed in that state), a special ordered a pair of my contacts told me they would be able to mail it to me, and then told me they will not mail the contacts. I did a price check on glasses and contacts so that I when I call back to place my order I new the cost. when I called back the next day the price of everything increased by $20-30, instead of helping me figure out why the price of everything increased The receptionist had an attitude and was no help at all. This is not my normal America’s best, I have never had an issue like this at another location. The opticians were very great and helpful. I normally don’t leave reviews, but the fact that I was calm and respectful about the whole situation and the receptionist, one of the cop, an attitude really left a bad Taste.
I’ve gone three times to this location and been disappointed twice. First, I got glasses and contacts. The prescription on my glasses was way off. I was told it was because I wasn’t used to wearing glasses often, to try them for awhile and then come back. Didn’t want to deal with it and kept using glasses that’d been prescribed 20 years ago—apparently, my face is used to that frame because I can see out of them just fine. Second visit was for contacts. Everything went fine. This last visit, I told them my concerns about getting glasses but went for it anyway. While paying, a woman came in to get her glasses. She said she couldn’t see. She was told they had a wider frame than she’s used to and to test them for a bit. After that conversation, I made sure that I can return my glasses if they don’t work. I don’t know if I can see out of them, because here we are, almost a month later and they still aren’t at the shop. Moral of the story: go for contacts, DO NOT go for glasses.
Thank you to everyone from making the appointment to picking out glasses. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. My mother, myself, and my son came in to get glasses today and we received high quality service from everyone. My mom and I are excited about the pair Eyewear we picked and our son got 2 pairs of glasses and an exam for 150.00 Thank you to Miss Robin J for helping us all get set up. We look forward to picking up our glasses in 2 week.
I was at your store today in Knoxville, Tennessee, and would like to say that one of the employees named Mason was helping someone who needed a little extra help. It was so nice to hear someone was compassion helping another person.
