If i could give a half a star i would. the worst customer service from the office staff. I called to provide my insurance the day before and the lady said they dont do that till you come in for your appointment, later that day get a call from the same lady asking to verify insurance. I told her I called this morning you said you dont do that. Issue 1. Get to the appointment finish the exam go to get pricing for glasses and is told that they are not in network with my insurance, so what is the point of checking insurance you should have mentioned that the day before so I was aware. Issue 2. Then I hear from under her breath another worker say well you should have checked with your provider before coming in. I said excuse me I didnt hear you and she turned around and said again. I asked her name while walking out and she said Jimena and then my husband heard her again start to say rude comments under her a breath yet again. Issue 3. I really hope thats not a supervisor cause that is way out of line and disrespectful especially to a customer who was frustrated and not having any attitude. Do better.

I went there on wed and needed an eye exam for a paper for dmv. I didn’t know if I needed a specific one so I told them the eye dr said she’d give me a paper that dmv should accept if they don’t I can bring the paper they give me and she will fill it out. So I went to dmv thrs and they gave me a paper so I went straight back to americas best the receptionist said the drs are off Fri but I can come back sat . So I went up there sat am and showed the receptionist the dmv paper she glanced at it and said I needed another vision test. I asked why cus I was there 3 days earlier she said yeah you need another test is that ok? I said fine can I get it today cus I had been on vac an go back to work mon she said they didn’t have any spots available. So I said forget it I’m not messing with yall. I went to the car an called and asked for the eye dr that told me to come back the receptionist said she’s off til Mon. So I then called the berry location told them my situation and the receptionist there was so nice they gave me an appt that day . I went over there and try ey waived the fee to get another eye exam because they said this all should’ve been handled at the hurst location without making me run around wasting time and gas. She also said they should’ve printed the paper I needed on wed and I would’ve been good to go on the first day. So for this I will NEVER go to this location again. If you want good customer service and want to deal with people who know what they’re doing I highly recommend the berry street location it is well worth the drive them to deal with the people here
My experience at America's Best was very disappointing. Throughout our visit, employees were speaking negatively about customers in Spanish, apparently assuming no one around them would understand. One conversation that stood out involved a customer who was requesting a refund. Staff members, including the manager, made comments calling the customer "broke" and mocked them for wanting their money back. Hearing employees speak about customers this way was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. No customer should be ridiculed for asking for a refund or trying to resolve an issue. The fact that management participated in these conversations made the situation even worse. The entire experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope this location takes customer service and professionalism more seriously in the future.
Horrible customer service. The seal around the lense not installed correctly & the tech not willing to even entertain the idea of reserving my one time warranty on my 2nd pair of glasses with a hard to see defect.. I understand it has been over 30 days. The lenses would eventually fall out. I would think they would see the inconvenience that would cause. Just a firm... NO!
Went and spent 245 for the two for 79 bucks, I need bifocals so it was 245, less than a year ago. Both pairs are broke, the arm broke at the hinge on one, and the little screw at the hinge broke on the second. So 245 dollars and I can't see worth a shit.. I took them down there and was told I would have to pay another 97 dollars per glasses to get new frame because they were not repairable. They are less than a year old. So I am on a quest, America's best make it right .are I can to reviews all day.If.yall can't are won't correct this I will share this on FB, TicTok, x, what's app, and I will have my family do.the same.
