America’s Best Optometrist

I will gladly travel over 45 minutes just to visit this America’s Best location, and it’s 100% worth it every single time. The customer service here is truly top tier. Destinee was incredibly helpful and patient while helping me choose my glasses. Going over insurance options can be tricky, but she and the entire team made the process smooth, clear, and stress-free. I never felt rushed and felt genuinely cared for. This location has earned my loyalty—highly recommend!

My family and I have been loyal customers of America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses on Westheimer and Dairy Ashford area for over 10 years. My family trusted them, including my late father who also got his glasses from there. However, my experience over the past two years has been deeply disappointing. I received incorrect prescription glasses repeatedly, and what struck me most was the utter lack of accountability or empathy. Despite my loyalty, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake from anyone in the store. It felt as though it was just another transaction, a piece of furniture in a business that has forgotten the value of its customers. After almost about a month, I finally received a voicemail suggesting I come in for a refund, but it felt hollow- like a mere formality rather than a genuine effort to make things right. This experience has left me feeling disheartened and unappreciated. It's a stark reminder that those who contribute to a business's success can often be overlooked and treated poorly. If I could give a 0-star rating, I would. For anyone considering this store, I urge you to be cautious and fully understand your rights as a consumer. You deserve to be treated with respect and care, something that seems to be lacking here.

The customer service was amazing, and the eye doctors were amazing too. They have such good communication skills; they know how to stir up a conversation. Destinee is amazing; she helped me pick out my glasses and see which ones really fit my face and look great on me.

I've been a client of America's Best for about a decade and worked with various locations in various cities. This one is one of the worst in terms of wait times and organization. I have had several instances of not receiving notification that my contacts were ready and the wait time for phone calls is absurd (regularly 15 minutes+). I'm happy to continue with America's Best, but will work with a different location.
