Dr. Capistrano did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I was not able to see street signs and my eyesight was 20/70. I received referral to Dr. Capistrano and had surgeries on left eye and right eyes. I was thankful I was able to see soo good and I loved seeing colors and birds and butterflies. She did excellent surgery and I had no problems.

I was referred to Dr. Capistrano by my Primary Care Physician for cataract surgery. My first meeting with her was a very thorough examination of my eye, in preparation for the surgery. The surgery went very well & Immediately after the patch was removed, I felt like I had a brand new eye. Dr. Capistrano is absolutely great. Her office is well organized, staff are courteous, professional & give good & helpful instructions. After meeting with Dr. Capistrano, I decided I am not going back to my previous ophthalmologist. I give her 5 stars & would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good eye doctor!
I had bilateral cataract surgery with Dr. Capistrano and I was terrified of the thought of having eye surgery. She made me feel comfortable and safe. The office staff displayed a disciplined and safe environment by wearing masks, they took my temperature, practiced social distancing, and took pride in protecting other patients during a very rough time of Covid 19. I have been to other offices where they did not take necessary precautions. The staff presented me with educational video on what to expect during my visit to make sure that I felt comfortable and safe during my laser procedure. After a few minutes I was able to see bright colors again. I felt depressed with my blurry/foggy vision and loss of depth perception. Now, thanks to Dr. Capistrano I have my life back. Thank GOD for such a wonderful and caring person. I can't wait for my appointment next week to do my other eye. I appreciate her for putting her and her staffs life on the line to care for me.
Very unprofessional office, especially the front desk staff. There’s a specific secretary who is rude, talks down to patients, and is completely unwilling to help. I brought my dad here and from the moment we walked in, we were treated poorly. We also needed help with a disability form that the doctor’s office is supposed to fill out (form B), and they refused, demanding private info they weren’t entitled to. Overall terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.
Just had my 2nd post-op check up this morning for my cataract surgery on my R eye. The surgery itself went smoothly under Dr A. Capistrano's expert-tender hands. I felt so confident and calm during the entire procedure. The result speaks for itself as my vision now is what I consider as UHD-ultra high definition. Thus, I'm looking forward to having my left eye operation done early next month. Oh, the drawback of having this UHD vision is that I get to see the dusts, smears, dents and all kinds of defects and imperfections of my house, lol (means more handyman's work for my husband) . Those would have been easily missed before this splendid and blessed new vision. Anyhow, I'd like to express my profoundest thanks and appreciation to Dr Angel Capistrano for an excellent job and for her staff for making this whole experience a very memorable & life-changing one.
