The doctors themselves were amazing and very kind, especially one of the residents. They were incredibly helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Unfortunately, I was informed after my appointment that referrals are currently delayed. When I spoke with the staff member who handles prescription approvals/ referrals, I was told it could take up to three months due to a backlog from the holidays. I really wish this had been communicated to me ahead of time, as I may have chosen to go elsewhere. This situation is especially difficult for me because I shared that I have keratoconus and urgently need hard contact lenses. Transparency about delays like this is important so patients can make informed decisions before scheduling. Now, if I decide to go somewhere else, I would have to pay out of pocket.
