This is an excellent eye practice. Glad I decided to try this Barenburg location for myself because I had, and am still having, very positive experiences there. I mainly see a retina specialist in Glen Burnie (since 2021) but will be doing Barenburg for help with cataracts, healing after surgery, and prescription eyeglasses. Convenient location with enough free parking. Very easy to navigate + super clean & comfortable inside. Has not taken long for me to be seen; 99.9% of the time within the hr of my appt. Very thorough cataract surgery evaluation; Dr. gave me helpful info and made sure I had no questions. Had an appointment previous 3 wks about my fast progressing cataracts-especially in my bad left eye. I went over to the eye glasses side by mistake upon entering-nervous & new-and was very nicely & politely directed to ladies @ front desk. Everybody @ the front desk was professional & friendly. Surgery scheduler is so nice. Tech was very sweet and reassuring bec my vision in my left eye has degraded significantly due to fast cataract formation, so I was feeling pretty insecure & anxious. Before cataract (developed fast due to Eyelea injections.) I was seeing well, even with my Diabetic & AMD diseased eyes WITHOUT GLASSES. Lady eye doc who saw me was awesome; she explained things in ways I could understand, invited ?'s, very patient, empathetic, nonjudgemental, knowledgeable, thorough...and kind. No long wait, but I'm sure there's days they get backed up like any business esp. healthcare: Super Busy Practice and Life Happens. All staff were wonderful and young woman who helped me pick the right glasses was super sweet; making sure I got the right frames and knew about frames my insurance covered and ones that it didn't. I only need glasses for distance vision. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming: All different kinds & types of people were there...and I certainly do not have the greatest insurance and was treated with respect & dignity as a patient- as a human. I saw & heard 1 of the front desk ladies having to keep telling someone something over & over again about a referral -and she was firm & direct-but never nasty. This staff STAYS BUSY. Yeah, sometimes appts are 2 or 3 mths out. Do I feel like they might never get cranky?😃... well we are all human and have our days...and feel frustrated and are tried. But this is a good practice with caring staff. Cataract consultation doc is also absolutely GREAT. From my first phone conversations getting then rescheduling my initial appt, no problems. Glasses took less than 2wks and I received a text when they were ready. I almost cried when I put these glasses on 🙌 bec it was like seeing in HD-crystal clear vision- which I have not had since my fast progressing cataracts appeared some months ago. Glasses are gr8 and young woman who helps you pick out frames is beyond sweet, and is awesome...she consults with you making sure the frames you get fit right, suit your face, and are the 1's you really want.❤️🤗 I have other health challenges, just returned to college to complete my B.S. in Social Science, am very active, love life, am a caregiver for my special needs brother, and work from home doing Crisis Work + teach online, and would love to be back in classrooms teaching preschool like I used to before all my eye issues.🙌

I have been a patient here for sometime. Everyone is caring, friendly and professional. Dr. Loeb is great. I know that I am receiving the best care possible.
Utterly useless. They won't see you. I'm practically bling and they can't make an exception. How can they see you the next day but over a month they can't see you again. They won't help they won't do nothing. Do not waste your time. Freaking pathetic
