Basden Eye Care is the BEST OF THE BEST! My wife and I have used Basden for a very long time and cannot be more pleased with the care and service we always receive with them. Our eye doctor is Dr. Rob Pate. He is DA MAN! He always takes time to talk with us, listen to us, is very caring with us and our eye care! Dr. Pate, and all of Basden Eye Care, always go above and beyond in their care for our eyes. At times, I have walked in without an appointment because I had an eye infection that was very red and hurting me. Dr. Pate took time to examine my eye, and prescribed the medication that solved my eye infections. He did not rush with me but took the appropriate time with me like I was the most important patient at that time. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rob Pate and all of Basden Eye Care! My wife and I will continue to go only to Dr. Rob Pate and Basden Eye Care!

I had the best experience at Brasden eye care. I wanted to try color contacts and the moment I walked I’m greeted by the friendliest lady at the reception desk. I checked i, sat down ready with my book thinking it might be a while and I got seen almost immediately. I got to visit with Dr Pate, he was thorough but efficient. Once my eye exam was done within a minute Ally Brown came and educated me on the art of putting in contact lens’s. I must have been in her office for 45 min trying to get them in. She was incredibly patient with me and has the kindest demeanor about her. I felt so comfortable even though I got so frustrated with myself trying to get those contacts in. I can’t thank her and the rest of the Brasden team enough for helping me spice up my eyes. 5 gold stars!! 10/10 in all areas!
Love Basden Eye Care! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My husband and I come in together and it's alot of fun! Thanks for always making our eye care a great experience!
Frames purchased did not come in. After one month, I called and was told the order was cancelled due to the frames being discontinued. No one called to tell us. We came in to choose a different one but they could not confirm which pair was discontinued. They ensured us we’d get transition lenses to compensate us. Another 3 weeks later, the frames came in and still did not have transition lenses. Additionally our phone calls were never answered nor returned. We had to call repeatedly. Two months of waiting and my five year old still does not have the glasses she needs to see. We will not be returning. Very disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience.
Update: Received a generic response with no resolution, expected much better from a reputable business. First the Optometrist and staff were wonderful. The problem was the glasses area. My wife and I went a few days apart and our glasses were ready on the same day. My wife picked them up, mine were not the correct glasses and they were very confused and somewhat rude when I went back to get the correct ones. My wife realized after she got home that the frames are not what she ordered and the cost was very high. She called the office and asked for an itemized receipt. That’s when she knew for certain the glasses were not the ones she had picked out. She returned to the office to get the correct frames and was told that was what she selected, even tried to convince her that she had talked to me about it on the phone when picking them out. She did not like being called a liar, so when the technician came back, out rather than argue with them she got a copy of the prescription and left with the glasses including the $400 frames that had been ordered instead of the ones selected.
