I recently moved to the area and needed to replace the glasses I purchased from a different optical store just eight months ago due to the poor quality of the lenses and concerns about the accuracy of the prescription. I walked into Bauer and they were fantastic. I discussed the issues I was having with Ed, and I decided I wanted an eye exam and new glasses. Within one week of walking through the door, I had new glasses with perfectly cut progressive lenses and an updated prescription that was also perfect. The optometrist was very thorough and precise, and Ed helped me through the whole process, even recommending the frames I ultimately selected (which everyone in my family loves). In roughly 35 years of wearing glasses, I have not had a better experience.

Distinctly average place. The optometrist is nosy and asks too many personal questions when you're just trying to get an eye exam. The optician is pretty aggressive -- doesn't like questions about pricing. But if you like motorcyclists, he's your man. Got show-off motorcycle souvenirs everywhere.
