Today’s visit didn’t go as well as others. We waited longer than usual to be checked in. The receptionist didn’t acknowledge us. Fortunately we were assisted by the appointment person Rebecca. One of the back office nurses was rude stating “I’m not taking her, she was late” in front of us. That’s something that can be said in private. They lacked professionalism in my opinion. I hope they have a better day tomorrow.
Billing department is horrible. They are charging me a deductible where it should be a copay only.. Spoke to Latisha and can't even talk to a supervisor and they won't send my bill for review. I paid my copayments and they are charging me more. Called my insurance and they said optum is wrong and no one can help me with this bill issue. More than $500 they are charging. Time to change medical groups
Appointment at 9 and arrived at 9:12 and was refused to be seen because now their window is 10 minutes when most clinics give a 15 min leeway. Just heads up for any moms out there handling a bunch of kiddos.
I've been going to this eye care clinic since it was with Beaver Medical. Dr. Decaluwe and the staff have always been courteous and professional every appointment I've ever had. As for my opinion of Optum they changed a lot things and not for the better. I would definitely recommend Dr. Decaluwe he's very patient and understanding.
Dr. Steven Rimmer who works at Optum at Barton Place, Redlands performed cataract surgery for both my eyes recently and I am very happy about my experiences. He is professional, caring and thorough with his job. Answered questions and helped with my concerns extending much compassionate mannerism. Thank you Dr. Rimmer for being kind to your patients.
