Shortly afterwards graduating college I had an appointment there. Three minutes in to my exam the doctor asked if I had a learning disability from just looking into my eyes under the scope. I responded, “Yes, I was diagnosed dyslexic at 10.” Following that appointment I got bifocals at 25 that changed my life. Thank you
If you want a master doctor in Eye Care this is the place to go, from the doctor to the staff I was 110 satisfied, they squeezed me into there schedule and got me checked out and back to having great vision. Thank you to everyone at this clinic you guys rock and will be my new clinic.
Dr. Pillen and the staff are great, and they have Optomap so you don't necessarily have to have your eyes dilated. And the office decor is cool, like being in a curio stop.
The atmosphere might be small town doctor, but the technology used is cutting edge. Exams are pricier, but that's because Dr. Pillen is looking for the cause of any vision issues rather than just what your prescription is, such has damage to the cornea or underlying health issues like diabetes. Highly recommend her for anyone needing glasses/contacts for the first time or with any health conditions that might affect vision.
I brought my 4 year old here for her exam and everything went smoothly. The optometrist was very patient and great with her. Also, I had to bring my 1 year old with me, which was so easy, because they had toys for him in the room. It was a wonderful atmosphere for my children and I'm greatful for their expertise.
