had a very good experience at Medical Beraja Institute. I was seen quickly, which I really appreciated. Dr. Fernández was kind, focused, caring, and very professional. The ophthalmology technician, Jaylin, was also excellent — very attentive, pleasant, and professional. The only negative part was the front desk experience. There was no greeting when I arrived, and the staff member was rude and unprofessional. I was asked to sign multiple documents on an iPad without any explanation until I asked. Overall, the medical care was excellent, but the front desk service could improve

Before visiting this office, make sure you make your appointment because after I have been waiting there for nearly two hours, you'll find out that no one knows anything. The employees are more concerned with just ignoring the workload because they don't even do their jobs properly. They need to be professional and kind with the patients.I recommend you look for another office that considers patients. I left the place without seeing the Opthologist, and nobody cared. Stars...00000 zeros

Physician Office Experience I had an appointment on October 8, 2025, at 9:45 AM and arrived at 9:30 AM. After providing my information, the front desk staff requested my insurance details, which I had already given them yesterday for an urgent appointment for an eye infection. The receptionist said they had misplaced the information and needed to re-verify it. After the staff member struggled to verify my BC/BS PPO insurance through their system, I asked to speak with a manager for assistance, as it was now 10:45 AM. The manager refused to get on the phone, and when I offered to call myself, I was told to continue waiting. The waiting room was crowded with many other patients who were also waiting. Given the significant delay and the lack of professional service, I decided to leave and went to an urgent care facility instead. This was the worst experience I've had at a physician's office. If you are looking for professional and timely service, I would strongly advise you to seek care elsewhere.

I get here from half way across town and find the main entrance is locked and there are city violation notices on the door. All lights arw off! I walk around the building to see whats going on. I call to see if the building is open. They tell me to walk in the back hallway to get into this building quitely and dont talk to anybody. I am thinking the main enterance in the building is locked due to violations and i am getting in the back this is not right. I go upstairs pay and they tell me to wait. Then they tell me i was late and need to come back. Oh no i dont think so. You made me late by running this dodgy scheme. The city locked your doors and you are operating? Then you make me late and send me home? On top of that when i protested about refusing me service the rude and very aggresive manager instead of apologizing was blaming me for being late! If i was late why did you charge me? Stay away they are no good.
