Bernhardt Vision

For years, I had gone to a different vision place, a chain. Last year, I was not happy with my prescription, but they told me it’s good enough and perfection could not be achieved. It didn’t feel like good enough, and I struggled with my vision for a year. Today I went to see Dr. Bernhardt and walked away with a prescription that completely changed how I see the world. So happy with his attention to detail. Great office, great staff. This will be my go to optometrist moving forward.

Best experience ever with an optometrist! Dr. Bernhardt is so good at working with my touchy eyes to adjust them just right! My eyes can be quite the challenge to get an accurate prescription and he nails it every time - quickly, kindly and patiently. Also he has state of the art equipment so he doesn't need to do some of the more unpleasant parts of the eye exam, such as the "puffer" thing on the eyeball. Tisha is terrific at helping the patients with any questions, picking out the perfect glasses as well as just being a bright light in the office for all the patients!

Dr. Bernhardt is super friendly and nice and really cares about his patients. And his assistant Trish is one of my favorite people - she’s so funny and really great to work with. So happy I started coming here.

I have been a patient here for many years, even returning to this practice after moving out of town then coming back. Every time you call no one ever answers the phone. When you leave a message you don’t get a returned call. This recent concern was the last straw for me as I was having an eye issue and needed to see the eye doctor. Calls 6 times over two days and left two messages with no answer or call back. Started looking for a new eye doctor and was able to get an answer and an appt next day at the new place.

Recommended! Dr. Bernhardt is knowledgeable but also personable. He's just a nice guy. I didn't feel like one of a hundred people there in line at the eye doc factory, which has been my experience everywhere else. And it's nice to give my business to a truly local store.
