Bowling Green Vision Center

I don't live near BG Vision Center. I live about 40 minutes north of Detroit, but after driving down to Toledo area the night before I realized it was pretty much an emergency that I get in and get some contacts at least, after a retina surgery. I was surprised that a small local place like this was able to get me in that day. They were so amazing from the first contact when I called and made the appointment to when I walked out the door. Everyone was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. They definitely had that small town local eye center feel, but with the big city state of the art technology and care. Since I have connections in the area and do visit from time to time, I may continue to just come here. I cannot thank them enough for their help!

We have a special needs son who needed glasses. The entire staff have been amazing with him and so accommodating. They truly provided honest feedback to ensure we find the right glasses for him. They even offered to lend us frames so we did not have to take my son and all his equipment out to the office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shilling is amazing! He spent a lot of time going over the retinal images with me, explaining everything, and answering my questions. His office staff were super friendly and professional. 10 out of 10 experience, highly recommend!

Although they were running a little late, I had a great experience with Dr. Peiffer today, very friendly and took time to answer all my questions. Only suggestion I would offer is that they ask if you are wearing contacts before running their pre-tests. I had to repeat all of mine because I was wearing contacts. Other than that, great service, all employees very friendly.

Busy place, but I was surprised when Dr Shilling said they were short handed, because everything was handled so smoothly. Taylor was so pleasant and professional, as was Erica, and, of course, Dr Shilling.
