Dr Burke was very informative very knowledgeable and extremely polite. Franklin did an awesome job I enjoyed his company his professionalism and his attitude. I bought two pairs of glasses instead of one. We got to share a little bit about the Lord together and even another customer joined in with us. Great place to do business an excellent employees

I'd give zero stars if I could. The staff was rude and then I never heard of eye Dr taking blood pressure. And I know the nurse didn't know what she was doing cause she took it on the crook of my arm and it runs higher if it's not properly place they said I was at stroke level and I had to go to er. When I was checked out by er Dr my blood pressure was normal for me and ekgs and labs were fine. So I guess not going back to burkes eye care cause they don't know how to do basics I'm not trusting them with my vision

Was pleased with all of the staff! Everyone was polite and knowledgeable about their jobs. Time was a little long. But it was a Monday and we all were getting started for the week! Lol! I am pleased with Burke Eye care!!

I have nothing but praise for my visit. From the front staff to the Dr and optician it was very pleasant. My appointment was on time. Dr Nitz was very professional, answered all my questions and was absolutely darling. I won't go anywhere else.

Today (5/13/2026) I had a retinal exam due to the medication that I take. It is a yearly necessity as a result of the potential loss of vision due to the medication. It took less than 10 minutes, but I was told I was given the wrong test, so I had to take it over AND it was the exact same test. The doctor looked at the results and said all looks good. I had to pay $40 co-payment as he is a “specialist”. Then I ask for a receipt. THEY are billing my insurance for $294.00!!!! I am absolutely appalled!!! This borders on criminal. I understand equipment is pricey. Time is valuable. HOWEVER, at my eye doctor in North Carolina, she did this test at my regular eye exam and the charge for my eye exam and the retinal exam was minimum and I only paid a one time co-payment and it was not divided into two exams. At my regular eye appointment, I saw my chart, because I had asked about the retinal exam and it said at the top in a black sharpie - Not Available. Obviously, this was planned to get more money from both myself and the insurance company. At my yearly eye exam last month, the insurance was charge for “the use of various lenses” which they denied. In North Carolina, they give you a new glass case, cloth, small bottle of eye glass cleaner. This practice opens a cabinet and says pick out a case from what looks like used cases. In addition they charge 3% for using a credit card and tried to charge me on my debit card my first visit. I am NOT pleased and will be seeking a new eye doctor. Something there seems shady.
