Amazing experience today for my eye exam. The staff was very friendly, fun to talk to, and informative. Richard helped me with ordering my contacts and the best options with my insurance. The Eye Doctor was the absolute best! Took time to explain what he was seeing and gave me some great feedback. Highly recommend this location :)

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and have always found the doctors and staff to be efficient and accommodating and explain everything very well from eye health to insurance to cost options. When I first got my glasses here the staff went above and beyond to help me pick out ones I liked. In nearly a decade I’ve only had one problem here with my glasses and they fixed my lenses for me free of charge the same day.

After being a patient for nearly ten years, I can't recommend this place. Dr. Ritchie is perfectly pleasant, capable. The support staff, however, have caused countless headaches over the years due to repeated errors or oversight. I learned to triple check a detail before leaving the office and still found that it would be incorrect in the end. Shame on me for returning and hoping that it would get better. I would recommend going elsewhere to save yourself time, money, and frustration.

I had a better experience than some of reviews I'm reading. Today I was there because my glasses broke in a car accident I had the day before. Mrs. Nancy was extremely helpful from the first moment she asked if I needed help. I was praying that I could get my lenses the same day because I cannot see good without my glasses. Mrs. Nancy helped me and explained everything to me thoroughly. She was always nice and respectful. Also, I am so thankful for her husband Mr. Charles for being the one to get my prescription and prepare them in the back with the machine that sounds does heavy work! I am truly grateful for them because I walked out with glasses that usually would take 2 weeks to prepare. They were so kind to me and I really want to make it know that it did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much Mr. And Mrs. Fecca! What a great team!

Denise who answers the phone is rude, dismissive and not helpful. I really need to take my business elsewhere. Response to the owner: I asked the receptionist three times for her name and she would ignore my question. Then she gave her name as Denise. Also, your responses to bad reviews lately regarding your receptionists are all the same, suggesting that we are reviewing the wrong location. I personally am definitely sure the location and of the seemingly fake name provided by the person who answered. It sounds like the person replying may be the same rude person answering the phone. It’s okay though, Ive found a much better optician and will not be coming back to Pearle vision at rittenhouse. If you’re a new patient, don’t even bother coming here.
