Loved my total experience with My Eye Dr! Mary was very helpful in helping me pick out an awesome new pair of glasses! Mia as well got me up and running with my old pair while waited for my new pair arrived! Bottom line excellent service and support and the Doc is always great in getting your exam correct and complete!
Last year I started using My Eye Doctor in Mechanicsville for yearly check ups and getting new glasses. I am very pleased with my visits. Doctor G gives me a thorough examination, explains what he is doing and answers my questions. The person that helps me pick out glasses is patient and helpful. I was seen within ten minutes of my appointment time.
I needed the form filled out for MVA to get my license renewed. When I went in and asked if they send the form in for me, her answer was no. She said just bring it in and drop it off and we’ll call you within 48 hours after he fills it out. I brought it in Friday and today almost one week later nobody called so I called them and it was there for me to pick up. Horrible customer service. Two of my friends doctors downloaded the form, sent it in straight to MVA as an added service to their patient. Not here Back in August I waited three hours for my appointment because they said they had an emergency that morning. As a matter of fact, I asked if I could leave and they call me and let me know when the Doctor is available for since I live 2 minutes away. That left a bad taste in my mouth as well. I do understand emergencies, but I should’ve been given a courtesy call with the option to reschedule or come in later. That certainly didn’t happen.
The doctor is great and really thorough but the front desk help and associates are unorganized and unprofessional. They had terrible communication when I had a simple confirmed appointment that I took off work for.
The doctor is great but the front desk and scheduling is terrible every single time I come in here. We have to go to work not sit here for hours on end because you don't know how to schedule correctly
