I was impressed with Dr. Fisher and the lady who first did all the tests. Everyone was very nice. My only quibble is that the desk area was a jumble of boxes. I have to assume that this is because the practice had changed hands and files were in a process of flux. Still, not a good look for a first impression.
I am uncertain why this location is still operating. If you are so understaffed that you opened on Monday and Fridays but don't know if you will be closed on those days due to staffing, why not just closed all together? I hate small town businesses because they don't have the business accuman of a middle school student. I was not informed the day prior that they will be closed on Friday. Clearly they knew this on Thursday as I was the only car in the parking lot at 8:00 for my 8:30 appointment. If they knew the day of, then someone would have been there to reschedule me and turn me around. If you can't do business the normal way then don't do it at all. I will be going to another doctor in Monroe or Charlotte. Really bad for the towns economy if this is the way they do it.
Very good experience with this office and Dr Fischer. Took me in at my appointment time and finished in a reasonable time. I would recommend.
Dr. Covington and his staff could not have been anymore caring, knowledgeable or helpful. I have been a patient of his for years and will continue to do so and highly recommend them to others.
Called them with a issue with my eye and they got me scheduled. I was able to get in fast and they give me a detailed exam and assured me that I was good to go. Don Covington spent a great deal of time with me and went over what I should expect.
