Dr Adang and her medical team treated my son and I like family when we came for his medical appointment. I had been feeling very intimidated and overwhelmed about my son's diagnosis. I left feeling like we can conquer this. Thank you so much CHOP!! 💓

We’ve been going to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia allergy department for a few years now with my daughter, and I truly couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve received. The doctors and specialists are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. We’ve completed several food challenges and follow-up appointments, and each step was handled with such professionalism and reassurance. I’m especially grateful that my daughter successfully passed multiple full challenges — it gives me real peace of mind being able to safely introduce those foods into her diet. Having such high-quality doctors caring for my child has made all the difference for our family. I would highly recommend this department to any parent looking for expert allergy care.
Visit the Exercise Stress Test part. Pleasant staff. Literally was there for no more than 45 to 60 minutes. My only issue was that I am from New Jersey and the roads in Philadelphia are different from what I am used to. Very confusing how to enter the building. But I was able to ask 2 parking attendants where I was going.🙏🏾 Now once we enter the parking garage is where it really gets hectic!. We drove for 30 minutes in the garage trying to find a place to park. The best parking was for the disabled and they have plenty of parking!❤️ Once we parked then it was much easier. The appointment was for 10am, check in was for 9:30 but due to limited parking we didn't get to the floor til 9:40. But we made it. A good point is to make sure you grab your ticket when entering to park and get it stamped by the machine they have at check-in so you aren't charged a lot. Ours was $4.00 for 60 minutes inside.
Hope lives here! This is an amazing outpatient center, and the care that they offer is unlike anywhere else. I go here for checkups occasionally, and the doctors and nurses are amazing! They absolutely saved my life.
The doctors are excellent, and the building itself is great, but the parking garage staff are completely unacceptable. I am 21 years old and still receive care at CHOP, and it is outrageous that every single time I pull up to the garage, I am questioned, judged, and given side-eye as if I do not belong there. It is not their job, their authority, or their business to question my age. Their behavior is rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional. What makes this even worse is that I have been denied access to park in the garage multiple times for no valid reason. Meanwhile, I have watched them pick and choose who they allow in, which makes the entire process feel arbitrary, unfair, and discriminatory. Patients and families already have enough to deal with when coming to appointments. No one should have to be interrogated or treated with disrespect by parking staff just for trying to access medical care. This issue needs to be addressed by parking supervision immediately.
