I must say awesome recovery! A year ago I had an uncomfortable experience with this location- After a couple emails- I came into Clarkson Eyecare of Chesterfield and meet with the office manager “Angelica” - Customer service was phenomenal! Long story short my original eyeglasses feel like new ones- I appreciate the time that Angelica took with me- Patience is the key!
This was my first visit to Clarkson Eye Care. My eye exam was comprehensive & thorough. The doctor & staff were friendly, professional & the exam was completed on time & efficiently. My only criticism was that I was charged for a contact lens fitting above & beyond what my insurance covered. Although I indicated that I wear glasses & contacts, I never mentioned that I needed or wanted contacts, thus my concern about a $65 charge I didn’t want, need or authorize.
I had a wonderful experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Chesterfield this month for my annual eye exam. Everyone was efficient, supportive and well informed regarding my eye care. I can always rely on Clarkson Eyecare to provide a medical professional who helps me plan ahead for my eyes.
I had a very frustrating experience with Clarkson Eyecare, and I feel customers should be extremely careful. They did not clearly explain which tests were covered by my insurance and which were not. Without proper disclosure or my full consent, they proceeded with additional services that ended up being out-of-pocket. Later, I received unexpected charges that were never discussed beforehand. In my opinion, this kind of behavior feels very misleading and unfair. Patients trust healthcare providers to be honest and transparent, and when that trust is broken, it raises serious concerns. It’s important for people to ask detailed questions and double-check everything before agreeing to any tests here. I strongly believe they need to be much more upfront about costs instead of putting patients in a position where they feel taken advantage of.
Angelica was great help to me in the repair of my 98-year old Mother's eye glasses. She was kind and sympathetic to my Mom's plight. I recommend Angelica for any award or additional compensation you may grant. David Woods.
