Clarkson Eyecare - Troy

I have been very happy with the service provided at Clarkson Eyecare. I had been going to the one on Olive for over 10 years because it was close to where I worked, had a friendly staff and the Optometrist was great. I retired two years ago and thought I would try one closer to home. I was not disappointed. Way to go Clarkson Eyecare for consistent standards throughout your network.

Quality of glasses are not impressive for the price. The bifocals curve upwards causing the need to adjust the glasses and they don't stay tented when outside making it hard to see with the sun shining. The staff didn't pressure in sales but also they didn't listen when told what we wanted. I know spending 520 on a pair of glasses with insurance is very high and when questioned about it was told the stuff I requested wasn't covered. Found out from the insurance company it was covered to be discounted but didn't see the discount. I also purchased a warranty with the lenses but I'm scared to get my lenses replaced as it took two visits to pick my glasses up because they didn't make them right the first time. Cleanliness of the facility was dingy and the lighting was dim like they were hiding something. Don't recommend here. Save your money and find a different place if you can.

I love Dr. Smalley at the Troy, MO location but I don't think I will be returning to this location for my next appointment. The facility seems to have gone down hill in the cleanliness department. The bathroom was pretty dirty, the chair I sat on to have my eyes tested was covered in hair and the floors and carpet look so dingy and dirty. I would prefer to go to a spotless medical place.

The staff in this office is so much fun, they keep me coming back year after year. It really isn't because I have too. Because I could go anywhere. I love ALL my BABES!!

I love this doctor and all the ladies who work here! Marybeth is the best! Reasonable prices and discounts delivered with smiles.
