Dr. Maya is an excellent dermatologist. I went to see her for a skin cancer check and had something suspicious biopsied. The results came back very quickly! I highly recommend Dr. Maya. First of all she is thorough and extremely knowlegable. She has had impressive training! Secondly, her bedside manners are impeccable. She makes you feel relaxed and heard. The office is clean and the staff are also very kind! I will be seeing her for my bi-annual skin cancer visits from now on as well as any other dermatological concerns my family has.

This is my 2nd time seeing Dr. Crosby in less than a year regarding my eye conditions. I left feeling that someone is on my side in trying to figure it out. She is brilliant, thinks outside the box when needed and explains her possible findings as clearly as possible. I am grateful to have found a doctor as compassionate and caring as she is.

Today I had the last in-office surgery to remove a cyst that has been a persistent pest that has been bothering me for at least 10 years. Dr Shinko Lin has been doing a number of these in patient removals for me for I believe it has been 3 to 4 years. She is moving to Hillcrest and will be working at Kaiser due to the benefits that will be better. I want the institute and anyone that reads this posting what a gentle, caring, and the most competent Dr at dermatology i have seen in my 72 years. I will miss this lady dearly as I have had total trust in her even though many of the surgeries that she did were removals that could have been very serious if not treated properly. A true professional she should be sought out anywhere she works and deserves anything she asks for. I wish Coastal Skin & Eye could have matched Kaiser to keep her. I am sure that others feel the same including the staff at the La Mesa offices. Thank You for taking such wonderful care of me Doctor Lin. I salute you...

I went with my husband for his annual visit. I actually went with him so that I could drive him home if he couldn’t drive himself. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a cancellation and saw me about a half hour after they saw him. Everyone in the office was very pleasant and efficient. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Crosby for many years and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I had a great experience at this place. Dr Crosby is wonderful and so is her staff. Also Dr Crosby is brilliant and best ophthalmologist i ever had. I would always come here.
