Cohen'S Fashion Optical

I am really satisfied with my service that I received from this particular Cohen 's Fashion optical. Fantastic. The two ladies that greet and assist you are excellent. Very helpful, great personalities, organized and efficient. I love my frames that were advised because not every frame fits everyone so to have help selecting the best frame to fit ones unique face and style is an added bonus. I have located my new optical place where I will do all my business here in Astoria when it comes to my glasses and eye exams. These ladies know exactly what you need and how to assist each and every individual and this is so refreshing. My husband picked up my glasses for me today and I am very grateful to have found this location. See you ladies next year! Unless I need some summer wear, or contacts.

Having lived in Astoria, Queens for almost 50 years, I can say with confidence that Cohen’s Fashion Optical on Steinway Street is by far the best place to go when I need a new pair of glasses or contact lenses. The store is well kept and clean. They have a wide selection of stylish frames in a wide variety of brand names. The sales girls are friendly, patient, knowledgeable and kind. They always recommend frames that fit the shape of my face. I also got my eyeglasses adjusted after I sat on them by accident. Great optical shop!

I visited this eye doctor’s office because I had heard good things about the Cohens and thought they might be a better choice than my previous doctor. However, I made a huge mistake! They only had a limited selection of glasses that were covered by my insurance, and when I finally found a pair, the office never called me to inform me that they were ready. I waited for a month and called them, asking where my glasses were. They told me that they would be arriving soon. I waited another two weeks and they informed me that they had received them a week earlier but had an outdated number of mine on file, so they couldn’t contact me. I know I had given them the correct number. It seemed like they didn’t care that they couldn’t reach me. I would definitely skip this eye doctor’s office and go to any other one in the area. Sorry, but not sorry.

On this day 06/16/26 The employee Joanna was a professional and kind individual. Allowing me to experience a great shopping experience. She engaged with me respectfully and gave me the best suggestions and will be walking out with a great pair of glasses! Thank you Joanna and team!

This spot is the goat of eye care, as an Israelite man. I appreciate the care and services given. In fact all other reviews I read on this place seems to be from lonely people who have nothing occupying their lives. Maybe the stern character people assume to be rude is there professional attitude. In fact the two women where like octopi catering to everyone ones needs, this older black woman came in and I want to suggest getting the anti-glare transitioning glasses as I was going up to buy my second pair, not only she but I was talking care of , and yes the card terminal needs updating or what ever the case may be , black or brown this place is the goat. And people don’t act like you lives are the only life in life that has issues , or your the only one who is a live . If you can write a essay for a comment go back to school and write the essay for the course you’re taking
