Conroe Eyes

This is a great eye doctor. The receptionist is always so friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of a wait, but we got my daughters glasses picked out and paid for while waiting to see the doctor. I have seen both of the eye doctors at this location and I really like both of them. Great place to go. The only bad thing I have to say is they could have a better frame selection for glasses.

This review is in reference to my first (and unfortunately last) visit I had here in December 2024. When I first walked in I was a little underwhelmed by the waiting room; I wasn't greeted and had to sit and wait about 5 minutes for the receptionist to finish her personal conversation before she even asked for my name. I had to wait longer than expected to start the initial eye tests (around 20+minutes), but the lady who tested me was nice and I could tell she was trying to be friendly, though she did seem new to everything. Dr. Pham was extremely nice and the exam was great--she really put me at ease, was very friendly and conversational. Unfortunately, after the exam is where I ran into a problem. When I went back up to reception to pay for my visit, the receptionist told me that I owed over $100. I have never once in my whole life of wearing glasses and contacts had to pay that much for a yearly exam, and this particular time I even had secondary insurance. I pulled up my insurance information and questioned her about the cost and she would not budge and could not explain the discrepancy between my insurance benefits on paper and the final cost she was charging me. I didn't push hard, and I figured maybe there was something I was missing, so I just paid it. When I finally reviewed my EOB from the insurance, it turns out that she charged me for PREMIUM contact lens fit and follow-up, whereas my contact lenses are standard and extremely common. I should have only been charged "up to $40". I'm not sure how to explain such an extreme error, but I will not return here because of the poor service at the counter and overcharging me.

The doctor was great and the front end staff super friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with my experience especially being located in Conroe, where I haven't typically had good customer service experience. On top of this my daughter was born with ROP, and the doctor went the extra mile to do some extra testing/pics for free to put my mind at ease I would highly highly recommend Conroe eyes!!

My first time visiting here . I was lucky to get an appointment on the day I needed to go get my eyes checked. The Dr. and staff were awesome and very helpful in explaining everything going on with my vision I felt they went above and beyond to get me set up in the right direction. . They are wonderful ,knowledgeable and quick to get you in and taken care of. Definitely will be going back for my eye exams.

They did a wonderful job making my daughter feel comfortable with her first eye exam. They directed us to where she could try on lenses and she was so excited, they had a nice selection. Overall a great experience, thank you Came in again for a checkup everything went smoothly and the staff was wonderful as always thank you again
