Cornea & Laser Eye Institute

Dr. Greenstein performed an EVO ICL surgery in both my eyes about 2 months ago. The short of it is that I'm ecstatic with the results (20/20 distance vision from my right eye and 20/20 near/reading vision from my left). Little to no nighttime halo, no pain, quick recovery (I could function well the very next day, although it took a couple of weeks for the vision to fully settle in). Some dryness which is being handled via eye drops. I would do it over in a hearbeat. In terms of Dr. Greenstein, he's of course highly respected surgeon who is recognized as among the best in his field, but he also genuinely cares for his patients and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Answered all of my questions thoroughly and went over pre and post op expectations multiple times so I was completely educated in what I was signing up for. Everyone in his office staff are so friendly and helpful and genuinely kind. They're willing to do everything to make all of the administrative and procedural steps as easy for you as possible. I look forward to seeing them when I go for my post-op checkups. All of the nurses are highly trained professionals and they run the dozens of advanced equipment for testing and measuring your eyes. For my pre-op measurements, I went through ~10 different machines - very extensive & thorough. Shout out to Dr. Gelles as well, who dial-ed in what my EVO prescriptions should be. I really enjoyed my interactions with him.

I have been going to the Cornea Laser and Eye Institute for many years now and every experience has been wonderful. Dr Greenstein has performed two procedures on my eyes over the years and he is always very thorough and patient with me. With all my questions and concerns he always answers them in detail and makes sure I’m comfortable in understanding what the procedure entails. The day of my most recent surgery I was feeling a little nervous and Dr Greenstein was patient, kind, compassionate and very reassuring, which put me at ease because I am confident in him and his abilities as a doctor. It’s hard to find a doctor that you trust fully, especially when you are trusting them with one of the most valuable gifts like your eyesight and I can say with confidence I trust him fully. He is excellent at his craft and truly wants to perfect everything so his patients are getting the best care that he can offer. I never saw a doctor that truly cares about his patients like him. This same amount of kindness and compassion is also shown by the staff and the doctors that are at the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute. Every interaction I have had was with care and kindness. I could not have asked for better care, respect, kindness, attention to detail, thoroughness and professionalism. Overall, this has been a life changing experience for me, one that I would do again without reservation. I would highly recommend The Cornea Laser and Eye Institute to anyone.

A month ago I had the CTAK procedure with Dr. Greenstein at the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute. We weren't sure if I could have the procedure because I have nystagmus so there was a chance we would have to aboard. The procedure went perfectly. I felt no pain or discomfort, only some mild pressure. Recovery was easy and painless. Because of my nystagmus I wasn't expecting any improvement in terms of visual acuity. But, I do notice I'm seeing a little bit clearer, less ghosting, depending on whether I'm inside my house or outside. Overall I would say there is an improvement. I will need to update my glasses prescription. Glasses can only help to an extent. Contact lenses can improve your vision further than glasses but I can't stand taking them out and putting them in everyday. Thank you to Dr. Greenstein and everybody at CLEI for being so professional and caring through this whole process.

So far all is going wonderful, Dr. Greenstein and his entire staff made my procedure and evaluation an easy, comfortable experience. I was told and prepared for a lot of pain, but I had very little. I am looking forward to completing my treatment and updating this review. I couldn’t give this office a higher recommendation. Everything was done, professionally and compassionately.

Light adjustable lens replace was the best thing I could have ever done for my vision. After years of contact lenses of various types I am able to see well without glasses or contacts. Was I hesitant , yes but after extensive research, this was the correct decision . However the office is excellent, organized, professional and state of the art. Trust a physician who is well trained and knowledgeable about all options available. You will not go wrong here! Dr Greenstein and the team came highly recommended by other eye specialists.
