⭐️ I had an eye exam appointment today, August 14, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. I arrived only five minutes late and went straight to the optometry office. I stood right next to the reception desk, waiting respectfully for the receptionist to finish her conversation with another patient rather than interrupting. She continued speaking with the patient for more than ten minutes. When she finally addressed me, it was exactly 6:00 p.m. She told me that she had to leave and that they do not see patients after 6:00 p.m. I explained that I had been standing there waiting before 6:00 and that I drove from Coral Springs because I lost my glasses and needed an eye exam. Still, I was not seen. I understand that arriving five minutes late may affect an appointment. However, if the office is unwilling to assist a customer who is already there, waiting at the front desk, they should not schedule appointments so close to closing time. I ended up wasting my time, requesting a copy of my previous prescription, and now I have to go somewhere else for my eye exam. Very disappointing experience and poor consideration for customers’ time.

From start to finish, my visit to the eye center at Costco was fantastic. Bryan at the front desk made me feel so welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. The assistant was professional and patient throughout the pre-exam tests, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Castillo was absolutely amazing and kind and she took the time to explain everything about my vision and eye health in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommend this eye center for anyone looking for great service and professionalism.
I am very pleased with Dr. Castillo and how well she did the eye exam and how thorough. Explained everything and genuinely helped me find the best lens and contacts for me. I finally know where to go for my anual check up. Many years ago I got seen by doctor Barbara and she was great but no longer works there. However nobody I know including myself has ever had good experience with Dr Sandoval. Thankyou Dr. Castillo, for great experience!
The Doctor there is simply not pleasant, nor are his staff. Patient care is non existent. When I walked in yesterday, another customer was complaining that they were refusing to give him his medical records which he legally has a right to. They said to him that the doctor wanted to review them and edit them before he could have them, which is completely illegal to begin with. When my turn came, I needed a follow up because I am not happy with my prescription he put me into a couple months ago, and their words to me, were that I would be charged a whole new visit charge as a new customer would. I let them know I would go elsewhere. Do not use this doctor whose name is Sandoval I believe.
I had an appointment at noon and they were nowhere near ready and didn’t even acknowledge that they are running behind or apologize. The doctor was good, but the overall experience, was very disappointing. When I asked for a status, the response I got was “I don’t know” so I had to wait around for an hour and a half to be seen and then had do wait *additional* time to get my prescription written bc the doctor went to see another patient in right after me. I wouldn’t come back here because of how long it took with no acknowledgment. No complaints about the doctor - he was quick and walked me through everything
