Costco Optical

Completed a comprehensive eye exam and bought a new pair of glasses/lenses. In short, my experience with Dr. Chung and the Tempe Costco Optical Department team was amazing. Was treated to all the things I love about Costco, like good quality at a fair price, convenience, and mind-blowing care. Dr Chung couldn’t have been more thorough, helpful and kind in her exam. Besides dialing in my prescription, she spotted and clearly explained a potential life-altering condition with my eyes, and helped with an expert surgical referral. And while they were very busy, she and her team couldn’t have been any kinder or more professional. My follow-up experience in choosing and buying a new pair of glasses there was also exceptional. Sandy in the Optical Department helped me pick a great set of frames, and most importantly, pick the best lens options for my special situation. She was beyond kind, knowledgeable and helpful, and made a stressful day much, much easier. Dittos for Kate, who helped me with my final pick up and frame fitting. It’s amazing this team could deliver this, all in the fast-pace that comes with the Costco setting. As I type this with new glasses and the clearest vision I’ve had in several years, I’m overflowing with gratitude for the life-changing care and genuine kindness this entire team showed me. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Run as fast as you can to get away from these independent optometrists at the Elliot Costco. I went into great detail about the difficulties I have had being fitted for contact lenses and they did exactly the wrong thing. They even sent me home with trials that were not my prescription. When I pointed that out, she said try them anyway 🤦‍♀️ Costco, DO BETTER I am sure that there are plenty of excellent optometrists that would love to have this space. And finally, the place looks unclean and unwelcoming.

I've worn glasses for ~60 years and, now that I have the new glasses, i can say the eye exam from Dr. Davis is the best ever. She was super careful to ensure every measurement was precise. Also, she's efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend.

Two of us got our eyeglasses ordered today. Sandy, our licensed optician who helped us, was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. She made our time spent hemming and hawing over eyeglass designs and going through the ordering process (and insurance) a pleasure. Thank you!

The woman who helped pick my lenses on a Saturday (forgot the name) is what customer service is all about. I have a bit of anxiety but she was so patient with me taking the time to look at different lenses, did not make me feel rushed whatsoever. This was day and night compared to the last couple of places I checked out before. Keep up the great work it’s much appreciated!
