Costco Optical

Came at peak hr lol bad idea. I legit have been waiting for almost an hour. I took a number and came back and I’m still waiting for my number to be called. Lmao it’s been stuck at 66 for 30 mins when I left and came back it was at 60. I legit went to go get a hot dog and soda for $2.99 and the lady with the curl hair legit asked me if I was picking up glasses or contacts. I said contacts. After that she left and went to lunch I think 😂 They are always short staffed so I understand I guess … Btw I’m number H69 and I got her about 45 mins ago 😂

My child wanted to purchase a pair of glasses, but the staff refused the sale because my child does not have a membership. Buying glasses should not be this complicated, especially for a straightforward purchase. The staff was unhelpful and did not offer any reasonable solution. This was a frustrating experience, and I hope management will improve their customer service and policies.

Went to pick up my glasses and they were handed to me. No adjustments no anything. Just here u go. Tried them on at the register and said they needed adjustment. Still no help. Minor adjustment with a pliers at the register. Very u professional. I now have a sore on the side of my nose by my eye. Unbelievable. Never again

Just left the Purevision Optometry inside Costco. Saw Dr Nguyen 2 years ago and she was fabulous, but office staff these days seem to be disorganized, rushed, and lacking customer service. They called the evening before my 10:30am exam and left me a message saying they didn't have my insurance on file. When I tried to call them back their phone system prompts to leave a message but just cuts you off. So I arrived with my insurance card to my appointment and the receptionist then proceeds to fight with me and tell me that my insurance doesn't cover vision. I showed her my insurance portal where it plainly says "100% vision exam coverage" but she insists *I* need to call my insurance to get the "correct" company info. Spoiler: I called after leaving and my insurance information was correct. My insurance agent said all the company needs to do is check my information in a portal. Would have taken less than 5 minutes, but instead you lost a customer.

The ENTIRE team is such a delight to be seen by! Sofia was able to accommodate me on a same-day visit , and I was met with huge smiles at the door! The attention to detail and care puts customers first . Kristie was a sheer delight to work with. She truly intrinsically cares for every patient , and it’s palpable in every interaction. It made a difference in my day and it was truly stellar to be in an office full of smiles!!This is a truly impressive environment and the energy is upbeat ! I have to thank the team for welcoming me when I had no primary doctor in the area. Nowadays this type of commitment to customer experience is virtually unheard of , and this type of kindness is so refreshing. All my best to the team and thank you!!!
