The staff was friendly and knowledgeable from start to finish. I’m not sure what an optometrist “assistant” is called, but she was just as good as the doctor. Doctor Lang was efficient, kind, accurate and personable without being short and rude or even chatty. Honestly I wish I had the same balance of all 4 at all times just like she does. Absolutely going back for annual checkups! Comfy and practical vibe all around.

Me issue isn’t with the staff, more like the whole outsourced operation. Iv never in my life went to an eye care place and forced to wait 3xs as long as what your told. I’m from the south and this type of stuff doesn’t happen so I will most definitely be buying my glasses from a professional online website next time. Heck my prescribed vr lenses( I ordered the same day of the glasses) came from Germany within a WEEK AND A HALF! But I digress, just think it’s funny how we are expected to pay high prices and then wait well over a month just for a new pair.
I am a new patient, and this place is marvelous! Clean office and friendly staff, and Dr. Lang was an absolute joy. I definitely left feeling cared for and with a smile! I recommend. :)
If I could leave negative stars, I would. Council Optometric is undoubtedly one of the most incompetent businesses I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. Time and time again they have been a letdown in terms of quality of care, customer service and billing. The final straw was when a staff member made an error, another staff member acknowledged the error then proceeded to say “I’ll bring it up to my manager, this isn’t the first time she has done this”, with no intent to make it right. It was basically a “whoops we made a mistake and we acknowledge it but you, as the customer, are going to pay for it.” If you care about quality care, honesty, and ethical practices, do NOT visit Council Optometric.
Have been a customer many years, however, have just bought my last pair of glasses from Council. Was not satisfied with appearance of glasses & refused to accept them initially. Fitting technician (?) said they could polish the edges. Went back a second time to pick them up. No change in appearance. Solution per Council? Sorry you don't like them but nothing we can do about it. Will go elsewhere next time.
