Martha & David in this office were wonderful, none better, and I had used Dr. Paul Smith for 3 years; I left his service after my last visit where I felt he was very short with me, pressuring me to have cataract surgery, then referred me to a collegue. Before the referral date arrived, I found his billing clerk had failed to file with my eye exam & glasses insurer - but had filed a $250 claim with my primary insurance [she"d snatched that card out my hand atvregistration & I'd told her don't file my visit on that card, I don"t have eye insurance with that one]. I called her to ccorrct this & find out when my glasses would arrive. She was horribly condecending, loud & nasty, said they'd performed additional tests (??) and that Dr. Smith said I could buy my glasses at Kroger (I've worn correction lenses since age 2). After a bit of back-n-forth, she agreed to fill my glasses Rx & file with my eye insurace (I'd verified they accepted it before my appointment) but now they needed an additional $35 & charged to my Visa.
