I went in early to my appt. I gave the check in lady my Medicare and Aetna card along with my picture ID. I went through the whole process. The doctor that did my exam was AWSOME. She is very knowledgeable and did a patient/provider collaboration. When I went to check out I was told I owed 75.00. I asked the check out lasy why 75.00? She said that's what your visit cost. I asked her that's with Aetna Insurance? She informed me that they didn't take Aetna Insurance. This was shocking to me because I should have been informed of this at check in. She informed me that I could go across to 82 clinic and they will bill Aetna for me, but they don't do any billing there. This really upset me because there isn't any professionalism at check out. It feels like oh well whatever. This is the 2nd time that I was made to feel like I didn't matter because of my skin color. The check out section have some major problems No one seems to want to be there. This is not how it was when Dr. Curtis ran the clinic. Don't get me wrong my eye exam was great as always from the Tech to the doctor. They did an AWSOME job and made me feel a part of the process. I just feel like I should have been informed about my Insurance at intake and let me decide if I wanted to continue with exam. Check out really need some help.

I always used Curtis Optometry when we lived here. We moved to Florence AL and have been unable to find a good eye Dr. I've been to 3 different doctors and they were not good or helpful and when dr Curtis office looked at my glasses from there they told me of all the extra stuff they put on it that explained why I had paid over $500 after insurance each time. I will drive 3 hours once a year to go to a great eye doctor. 5 stars aren't enough.

I am having severe skin reactions and irritation/ blindness from these cheap Oakley Pewter (OX3227) alloy frames you gave me. I paid over $500 for the premium Titanium Metal Plate (OX5038) frames. I specifically selected the Titanium design in your office back in March with the larger logo but received the incorrect frames. Please correct this mistake without further back-and-forth and without further delay. I am posting a 1-star Google review regarding this experience, but I will gladly remove it once the correct titanium frames are received.

Dr. Hannah & staff are always super. My hubs has said it’s the most thorough exam I’ve ever had and I agree. I highly recommend her and thus clinic.
