Though the wait was a bit long, it was justified by the amount of folks arriving at reception and then waiting to be seen. I appreciate the waiting area monitors that let you know where you're at in the queue for seeing the PA or MD...answers the question we frequently have when waiting: 'When will it be my turn?' MY PA was excellent and took the time to affirm me in my situation and undistractedly explain options and processes to head me toward healing. I appreciate have Guthrie Urgent Care available to me and my family.

We went here because our 19 month old was exposed to RSV and was showing symptoms of labored breathing. He was seen by a Nurse Practioner who claimed to have a lot of experience with RSV. He told us that he needed to go to the ER, and that while he had to recommend Cauyga as the closest hospital, he really suggested we go to Syracuse because of the likelihood our child would have to be admitted for up to a week or two stay. Why go to a different hospital when you would have to be transferred to a children's unit? He could hear the buildup in his lungs and they'd have to see if they could extract it in the ER. His oxygen levels were read at 91%, 94%, and 97%. We're now back home the same day after freaking out for 2 hours that our son would have to spend a week in the hospital. We packed bags and made and extra pot of coffee for the long drive (and back for one of us) while our son was walking around the kitchen trying to open cabinets (the usual mischief). When seen in the ER, his oxygen levels fluctuated betwen 91 and 98%. The PA that saw him declared within minutes that the case was mild and that she was almost certain he would not have to be hospitalized. Nothing was going to have to be extracted from his lungs. We asked what to look for to tell if we needed to come back and she basically said actual signs of severe respiratory distress. Our son received a breathing treatment and once we got home was climbing on furniture and driving his cars around the room like nothing ever happened. We were happy to have received care but this is what we expected at the Guthrie urgent care. It's safe to say we will not be coming back here. This trip alone was enough to put one of us parents in the ER with a heart attack, for no aparrent reason other than a clueless practitioner (who also was sure to explain to us that you should always give medicine for a temp over 100.4).
Told the receptionist about why I made a visit, then waited 3 hours to be seen. Only to have a 2 minute discussion with the doctor for here to tell me there was nothing they could do and the receptionist should have told me, then they decided to bill me for $160 and refused to drop the price.
Last week I entered the City Harbor Urgent Care with some flu like symptoms. Luckily for me there was time on the schedule. I waited for a period and was admitted to a PA. We had a good few minutes together and I felt better for the interaction plus I had marching orders to live by. Good experience all around.
The wait was ridiculously long. When I got there there was 1person being seen and 2 people in line ahead of me (according to their wait screen). It was an hour before the person being seen came out and almost 2hrs before i was seen. I have never waited that long at a walk-in. Their wait screen had estimate time of when you would be seen. They are clear set to a generic 15-20min because they never changed even after the set time had passed.
