Doctor Sam's Eye Care

I recently moved to the area, after some research found Dr. Sams eye care. Made a appointment for a eye exam which was scheduled 2 months out, that's fine there busy. Did the eye exam everything went smoothly. Picked out my glasses and paid for them that day. Was told it would be 2-3 weeks before my glasses are in. Coming from my previous eye care clinic which cut the lenses on site that day. But i get it not all facilities can do this. I wait the 2 weeks receive a message that my glasses are ready for pick up. I go that day to pick them up and i'm told it would be a week or 2 until they can get me in for a fitment for my new glasses. I've never been to a eye clinic that would not fit you right there on the spot when you pick up your eyeglasses. And for this i will not be returning. If you are going to sell glasses, you should be able to do a 5-minute adjustment when a customer is there to pick up their glasses. The worst part about it is there were people just standing in the receptionist office talking to one another, ignoring customers. At this point id rather make the 2+ hour trip to my old eye clinic and receive good service rather than make a 30 minute trip to Dr. Sam's eyecare and not even get a fitment when i pick up a new pair of glasses...

Thanks for a great evaluation appointment! You were thorough, efficient, and very kind to my nervous 8-year old. The only reason we won't be back soon is that all is well with my daughter's eyes. When we DO need eye care next, we'll definitely be back. :)

We have been looking for two years to find a recommended eye place that does the diagnostic test plus has a facility to pick glasses from. A place where you are not waiting 6 months to get in and the staff is customer friendly. If any adjustments are needed, they get you right in. No need to schedule days out for an adjustment. We found it with Sam’s Eye Care in Claremont, NH. They are highly recommended and outstanding staff with great personalities even Dr Sam. Thank you!!

Thoroughly impressed with my experience at Dr. Sam's. Starting with scheduling my appointment on the ph. The young lady my wife spoke with was not only thorough gathering our info but was detailed discussing the whats and what nots with our insurance and F.S.A. she put us on a cancelation list and my appointment went from 6 weeks out to the next day. I arrived 20 mins early figuring new patient paperwork however the check in person being so efficient took about 5 mins. Eye exam, picking out glasses and eyes checked by Dr. Sam...every step of the way was pleasant and with light-hearted kindness as if this was my 100th appointment. With how this world is spinning these days it was more of a fun afternoon out than a Dr's appointment. You will discover right away the difference between a well run private practice compared to a chain or conglomerate. TY everyone at Dr. Sams!
